Sharingan Powers

So im not sure of this. Are the powers from MS influenced by the environment of which the Uchiha is raised? For example, Obito's power is a Time Space tech, and his sensei Minato, used Space Time tech too. So is there a connection?

Theres no actual proof of this in manga this is just one of those random thoughts

NOt so much environment as circumstances. SO obito didn't want to get crushed and wanted to magically phase thru the rocks so he got that power. Itachi was a peaceful guy so he needed something that wouldn't casuse too much physical harm but get into the mind of the opponent (tsukuyomi) and so on xd my opinion

Obito awakened MS when Kakashi killed Rin, no? It was as if he wanted to just disappear and his MS granted him the power to phase out of reality (the current dimension).
