I don't want to cause people hating on me, I just want to highlight what sharingan can do for different users.

Mangekyou
Amaterasu - Eternal Burning Flames
Susanoo - Nice protect...
Tsukuyomi - Torture in 1 second lol
Kotoamatsukami - Control yo' mind
Kamui - Can't be hit directly unless you're too quick for Tobi. Tough for minato, and he's very fast
Controlling Bijuu - Assuming its MS.

Normal Sharingan
Izanagi - I think this is not Mangekyou Sharingan related but I'm probably wrong lol
Kakashi - Copy justu
Everyone - Almost predict movements (unless they are too fast such as naruto in tails form or raikage body flicker etc)

I may have forgotten some stuff.

Thanks

(This is not a rant)

To get to the more op stages, it requires a lot. For instance, ms requires you kill your best friend, which is prettttty major. It also causes a lot of issues for the user, before ems. For it's requirements, I don't think it's op.

Yes, but think about the history of the Uchiha clan. They carry the Curse of Hatred. Sasuke and Madara desired power. I really don't think that emotional trauma affects how strong the sharingan. Regardless of how they got the ms / ems, they still have an unreal advantage in battle.

First, I never said they weren't op.
Second, Wood style is a chakra nature from earth and water so you could assume it is easily countered by Lightning.
Third, Kuruma is strong, but remember that Sharingan can control the tailed beast itself. Now dafuq is that all about. Also thanks for reminding me about controlling Bijuu lol

It depends on the user in question. It appears to be OP, because the Uchiha we have seen using Sharingan (Itachi, Shisui, Madara, Izuna, Sasuke, Obito) have all progressed past the 3T. When you think Sharingan, those six names pop into your head.

The average Sharingan user has an unfair advantage, however it is proven in multiple situations how Sharingan users can be defeated. The MS/EMS is OP despite the ratio of Sharingan users who actually awaken MS/EMS (very few, as many of you know). It takes a special kind of person to awaken the MS/EMS

In a way but a lot of sacrifices need to me made to use its full power, and something needs to be in place to compete with bijuu

In Part I, The Sharingan was placed well where is was. There was like only 3 people who even had it (Sasuke, Kakashi, and Itachi).

With Kakashi, no Uchiha body means he can only use the Sharingan for short periods of time, and when he did, it was best used for copying techniques.

With Sasuke, there was a limit at the time, as Lee explained, where Sasuke himself had to be fast in order for his Sharingan to be used to its full effect. So he used it to dodge his opponent's moves

With Itachi, he was the strongest of the three, he used his Sharingan to its fullest effect (beating the previous 2 Sharingan owners) and then having his own Mangekyo Sharingan, which used moves that no one else could attain. So he was able to see and dodge attacks, powerful genjutsu, and then his MS abilities.

Everything depended on the user's abilities, and even then each user had their own flaw with it.

Now in Part II, everyone has the Sharingan, and anyone who has the Sharingan is suddenly this top tier character that can take just about anything.

There's a reason why Kishimoto made it so powerful though. If Sasuke didn't have his MS techs, how would he stand a chance against a jinchuuriki in perfect control of their tailed beast? What would be able to even begin to compete with that amount of power?

People complain a lot about sharingan but look at the jinchuurikis, edo tensei users like Oro and Kabuto, Raikages lightning armor and ridiculous speed...

If Naruto was an MMO,

Sharingan = Purely offensive

Byakugan = Purely utility

Rinnegan = Everything (overpowered)

There's currently no defensive eye power, but the Sharingan isn't OP because it fills its own niche, and you sacrifice Defense and Utility when you take it. Sharingan has SOME Defense (Susanoo), but only if you get Mangekyou, and Sharingan has SOME utility (strong genjutsu, stronger when in Mangekyou) but it just can't fill the roles as much as the other eye powers.

If Masashi cared enough to create a defensive eye power, the antithesis to Sharingan, it wouldn't look as OP as it does now because it would have clear counters.

Well both the byakugan and rinnegan have solid defensive abilities, but they also have offensive capability as well. Byakugan gives the user 360 degree vision and the rotation works very well as an all around defense to most attacks. The rinnegan also is good defensively with preta path which can absorb chakra, and hence many techniques. Also deva path is useful defensively with shinra tensei.

Then Sharingan has susanoo which is every bit as good as the byakugan defensively, even a little better.
