Lemme know what you know what you currently know about Sharingan and link to your 1T training. Also, is your bio approved?
1. The sharingan is a dojutsu which manifests within the uchiha clan of konoha. It is red in appearance and its maturity is determined in the number of commas, also known as tomoe, surrounding the pupil. The sharingan gives the user the ability to see chakra as colors with different properties , although it cannot see long distances away and cannot see through dense masses. It also allows the user to slow down their or their targets perception of time, allowing them to track fast opponent or throw them off. The sharingan helps its bearer act accordingly to all attacks, and as well as mimic them if the user is able to do so by using its enhanced precognitive capabilities. Lastly, the sharingan allows the user to hypnotize targets and detect, break cast illusions on them as well as reverse genjutsu upon detecting it being placed on themselves.

2.

3. My shota aizawa bio is awaiting approval but i already have an approved uchiha bio.

So you know nothing about the Sharingan. I'd have expected you to have learned something by now but that's giving Sensei too much credit. We'll start at the beginning and go through this with a Q&A session as it's easier to work with. Let's start with it's vision and perception before anything else as these form the basics of it. Be warned we doing a lot of theoretical work and posting here so it'll be a lot of long posts on each side but you can't say you're being hoed in training.

Sharingan is able to track movement speeds beyond that of the user's speed. At what level does each tomoe track and what does this essentially mean? Can the user move and counter taijutsu movements faster than himself? Can he track this speed with clarity or only movements of linear paths? What else does this increase in perception mean?

The three stages of the sharingan can track things moving up to what the bearer can track normally multiplied by 1.5(1T),2(2T), and 3(3T). By giving them a heightened sense of vision and perception, the sharingan allows the user to cut down the time it takes for them to notice what their opponent does and quickly formulate a strategy based off minute movements, previous experiences, and counter accordingly.

Which brings us to your next question. Let's say if the user could track someone moving way faster than they can move themselves, although they are able to perceive the actions being made by the opposition, their body and speed may not be up to par with their target's very own. Inevitably, the sharingan user's only options would be to watch and attempt to react as they get pummeled during the process of countering unless they are physically capable of doing so. But that's not always the case either, multiple factors come into play such as range , and how the sharingan user attempts to counter, for example, countering with a genjutsu that requires eye contact or a jutsu that requires no handseals is more plausible than performing a 12 handseal jutsu .

I believe that it is safe to say that the sharingan can track everything within its parameters with clarity , as seen in the sasuke vs naruto fight at the end of part 1 when sasuke upon gaining his third tomoe, was able to clearly read and predict naruto's movements even while in his enhanced state.

This increase in perception means that before the opponent even finished their action, the sharingan user would have already predicted your next actions based off your current muscle movements and previous actions, as they are being perceived as moving slower in the eyes of the sharingan user as well along with the fact that they can also see the properties of the chakra being molded, cutting the recation time even shorter and making the counter more effective.

Pretty good, you have a basic understanding of the tracking mechanics. Since this'll be a collection of info you need to know, I'll explain some more.

The 1Tomoe of the sharingan grants the user first and foremost the ability to track speeds 1.5x his own speed, equivalent to the first of the EIG. Most taijutsu attacks done by the average ninja will be trackable as they will likely be around the same speed as you. The second tomoe increases this perception to being able to track up to 2x his own speed, equal to the second of the EIG. The visual acuity of the Sharingan increases, allowing one to be able to now track the handseal speed of the opponent, seeing the seals performed with clarity, the user now being able to copy these very seals (we'll cover the restrictions regarding this later). The third tomoe increases this perception even more, allowing the user to track speeds up to 3x his own speed, the same speed as the 4th Inner Gate. This means that even small insignificant movements done by opponents will be easily seen to a 3 Tomoe Sharingan wielder, the twitch of a finger, the small blink of an hair or the swish of a cloak, all would be seen as clearly as if the user was standing inches away from the object, watching it. Even the flexing of an arm would be noticable and trackable by the Sharingan.

Advanced levels from the basic three tomoe is first the Mangekyou Sharingan, capable of tracking speeds up to 4x the user speed while the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan tracks up to 5 times the user's speed, over the speed of the 6th gate, but not quite as fast as the 7th.

None of these grant the user any type of speed boost, only the speeds he himself is able to track up. Because the user is able to track such high speeds with clarity, it can cause things of the user's speed to appear to be moving in slow motion.

Now, a bit more tricky question. The Sharingan is able to perceive chakra as well as track speeds. This allows him to track chakra and sense it on a greater but more specific scale. How so? The Sharingan is also able to see through matter but, likewise, on a more specific scale than the Byakugan. How so?

The sharingan allows the user to see things on cellular level, acting as a microscope and allowing the user to perceive things even to the smallest detail.

First, one should understand the main difference in between the two Doujutsus lies in their usage and the purpose of it. What makes Byakugan unique isn't that the user can see through chakra. It's that it can focus past anything to see this chakra. It has almost no blindspot, and can pinpoint any detail. In essence, Byakugan differs from Sharingan because it is a telescopic vision as Imperfect said, and a much more detailed chakra visual capabilities, able to pinpoint the specifics indentations and variations of chakra (though a Byakugan user will be able to explain in more detail of course).

Sharingan, on the other hand, is a more brutish chakra vision, it can sense the bulk of the chakra, and the general shape and flow of the system that composes a technique or organisms. It is effective in seeing what's hidden, what's wrong, and what's real. It can pierce through illusions simply because it has the visual acuity to look past them, and see the reality of what is really there, but it excels in seeing exactly what's in front of it. Sharingan users are masters of genjutsu not only because of the convenient doujutsu casting mechanism or the advanced chakra control, but because they can memorize and detect expressions and movements to the most minute detail. It's often used to copy taijutsu, ninjutsu and to mess with your mind. Now, this has been shown multiple times, especially with Itachi. Noticeably, he did this and was praised for it by Kabuto, his knack at reading people. I say noticeably because not only was it a big deal to be able to read an accomplished spy, plus it's one of the things that has been consistent with the Uchiha and Sharingan despite Kishi bein known to contradict himself a lot.

The Sharingan has a type of dual layered vision, regular eyesight that all Shinobi and beings have and then a Chakra/X-ray type vision, that overlap with one another to create the visual map Sharingan users have. Their ability to see chakra inside a solid non chakra infused object is related to the ability they have of focusing between each "vision". If you understand a bit of photography you can understand this as similar to focal points. If you focus on something near, you blur away whats far, and the other way around. If you translate that into the chakra VS normal light vision things, you can understand how it works a bit better. Its like looking at a glass. You can see the glass or focus to see past it. They can see chakra inside matter otherwise they wouldn't see chakra at all as chakra isn't something that goes flying around in the air. Its always (or almost) inside a medium, solid 90% of the time, like the human body. They see chakra inside something by unfocusing they normal vision (so to speajk) and focusing on the chakra part. Thats why most of the times, when it comes to tyring to find something hidden or something hard to find you often see them "ofucing" on their vision.

Thats why to negate their eye benefits, you need to negate both visions: you need something that will block their normal vision and something that will block their chakra vision. So, hidden mist. By being infused with the users chakra, if they look with their chakra vision, the only thing they see is chakra. If they look with their normal vision, all they see is mist. Thats why its used to block the sharingan. And thats how the sharingan should be blocked.

As for what and how far they can see through things, I think some key aspects play in this whole thing:

1. distance: Sharingan can see but they can't zoom or anything. They are simply normal eyes that can see chakra and details and what not. But they can't zoom or become microscopes or telescopes like the byakugan can.
2. type of medium: Something that wasn't created by chakra will always be easier to see through than something created by chakra, even if chakra is no longer there.
3. chakra "size": A person has more chakra than a technique, thus why I think finding someone is easier than finding something.

Now what does this translate to? I think they can see chakra inside a medium as long as its like half a meter to a few meters inside it. Further than that, no.Dust clouds, Wind barriers, etc. If you have them big enough, the enemy wouldn't be able to see you unless you are visible in normal eye sight

Sharingan has many different abilities, one of it's most notable and powerful abilities is also one of the most underused and underrated abilities in the RP. As shown by Madara and Sasuke at different intervals, the Sharingan is able to hypnotize a foe. While different to casting a Genjutsu on them, the two hold similarities. What all can you tell me about it's hypnotic abilities?

Sharingan hypnosis is initiated upon the sharingan user making eye contact with their target. By doing so, the Sharingan user is able to implant thoughts, feelings and words into the minds of their targets, making them susceptible to believing that the sharingan user is able to read their minds.

This is to not be confused with sharingan genjutsu , for which that is another topic on its own. Hypnosis will not work on anyone the same rank or higher than the sharingan user. The sharingan user can mess with their opponents mind, but they cannot force their target into harming themselves, alter memories or take complete control over their will.

That's pretty much it, but let me explain some points for clarity.

Hypnosis is essentially tapping into the more primal levels of your mind. To explain, the mind is similar to an onion, with layers and layers of thoughts, emotions, feelings, etc. These layers are held together by the will of the person. This will can be manipulated and shut down through hypnosis, causing them to revert back to this primal sense of control. This can largely be done via Sharingan genjutsu, but on a smaller more specific scale, it can be done without genjutsu. It always requires eye contact and this contact must be sustained. Through this eye contact, you can alter how they see and perceive basic things, changing them to suit your needs. You can for example alter their perception of time, like when Kakashi fought Zabuza like Imp said ( though, Zabuza performed the jutsu, Kakashi made it seem as if he was performing the seals at the same time, suggesting he could read his mind ), you can alter feelings and suggest words into their mind, which can make it seem as if you can read his mind. With this, you can play around and toy around with their mind, but you can never bend their mind to the point that you manipulate their free will or body. It's ideal for taijutsu means, altering their sense of time perception to make it appear as if you are attacking at the same time as he is. But the true usage of it comes from it's roleplaying aspects, roleplaying not as in Battling, but roleplaying as in character development and such lol. Like you can hypnotize them into feeling fear, anger, anxiety, etc etc, and from a RP standpoint, that's a pretty cool thing to make use of in a battle. Of course, there is a few limitations to this, namely the fact that you must maintain eye contact continously and the fact that it only works on targets 1 rank and lower from your rank, Sage being able to affect Unofficial Sages and so on and so forth.

NOW, on to the genjutsu lol. Sharingan genjutsu is pretty powerful, capable of taking the last things I just discussed with you about Hypnosis but on a stronger level, able to control the opponent. What can you tell me about the Sharingan genjutsu in general? It also has abilities related to genjutsu, while not directly casting them. What are these? What else do you know about it's Genjutsu related abilities?

sharingan genjutsu are illusion based techniques that are produced via the sharingan. some of these techniques require direct eye contact while others just need the target to be within the users line of sight.the sharingan can also break visual genjutsu by being able to see through them due to noticing reality vs illusion. also the sharingan can reverse the genjutsu back onto the original caster.

Genjutsus are certainly powerful, that much is clear. But all of them do not require eye contact, those most do. The way this is theorized to work is that with regular genjutsu, one must generally form handseals to initiate the Genjutsu, molding the chakra for this illusion through the seals. The mediums for genjutsu differ greatly, a large portion of them being visually triggered, such as looking at the user or a specific object. Some others are triggered through hearing a sound ( Namely Sound Genjutsu ), and even others are triggered through sense of Smell, Touch, and Lili has even tried to extend this to the sense of Taste with her submitted CC. With most Sharingan Genjutsus, this medium is Visual, requiring the user to be able to cast a genjutsu through eye contact alone, however not all do this. A specific one that doesn't require eye contact would be (Doujutsu: Shiranui) - Eye Technique: Phosphorescent light. This one is triggered by having a line of vision with the target, being able to physically see him.

As I stated above, not all Sharingan genjutsu require direct eye contact. Shisui was a master of Sharingan Genjutsu and his Mangekyou Sharingan was shown capable of using Sharingan Genjutsu to great effect, able to cast Genjutsus on others without them even being aware of it, or without them even being able to see it, demonstrated by Danzo when he trapped Mifune in a genjutsu without him even being aware of it happening during the Five Kage Summit Arc. What that specific quote likely meant was that due to Shisui being hailed as the greatest Genjutsu user of the Uchiha, his prowess with it was so great that he was able to cast a Sharingan Genjutsu from greater ranges than others, possibly even normal Genjutsu as well. This however does not mean that normal Genjutsu is able to be cast through greater ranges than Mid range in the RP. Genjutsu is confined to Mid range whereas Sharingan Genjutsus, some of them anyway, have the possibility of being used at Long Range.

Sharingan is able to pierce through Visual Genjutsus as well as reverse other genjutsus cast upon the user. Starting with the first, Visual Genjutsus, are genjutsus that take on a Visual trait primarily. This means that Genjutsus that primarily are used to alter your sense of sight and what you are able to Visually interpret are considered Visual Genjutsus. Sharingans are able to break through this visual illusion with ease, due to their natural "piercing" abilities, allowing the user to see through it. How this is achieved isn't an exact science but we reason it to be along the lines of simply focusing your vision once you have reasoned it is an illusion and piercing through it with ease, an instinctive and relatively quick process, taking next to no time in the timeframe and being passively achieved. However, this is only viable for Visual Genjutsus. As for other Genjutsus that plague the mind, should you reason it to be a Genjutsu, you are able to reverse the genjutsu itself, though we will touch on this in greater detail later. Also, note my point about casting Genjutsu through the Sharingan above, it doesn't increase the range.

And now, we move on to the actual Genjutsus themselves. They can be best divided into Genjutsus of similar groups instead of the repetitive grinding of the same ones over and over.

The first are the Sharingan Genjutsus that do not require direct eye contact, but rather a line of sight of the opponent. A large portion of these genjutsus are designed to incapacitate the foe while not causing direct damage to them in most cases. These methods include binding, and paralyzation.

NOTE: I post some higher than your rank can use, but you CANNOT use these until you rank up.

None Eye Contact Requiring Genjutsu:

(Doujutsu: Shiranui) - Eye Technique: Phosphorescent light
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will cast an illusion to make the opponent see six copies of the user that detonate simultaneously harming the target. The explosions are explosive kunai to deal damage whilst the enemy is distracted in the genjutsu.
Note: Requires tomoe 3 sharingan.

Relatively easy to cast, you cast the illusion that there are suddenly 6 of you that attack him by exploding. What really happens is you throw explosive kunai hidden by the genjutsu. It doesn't require eye contact, but it does require the 3 Tomoe Sharingan to be active.

(Bōshi Genjutsu: Koukon Karasu) – Illusionary Eye Technique: Dusk Crow
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: This is an advanced Sharingan technique the user traps the enemy in an illusion without any eye contact, similar to Ephermal. The Genjutsu traps the victim in a torrent of crows, leaving them at the users mercy.

I can't find the exact scene it was found in the anime, but I have a picture of it below. Under the picture is a varied usage of it by Itachi in a game. It can be seen at 1:43 - 1:54.

(Bōshi Genjutsu: Utakata) - Illusion Eye Technique: Ephemeral
Rank: B
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:20
Damage Points:40
Description: An illusion were the user simple points at the target and if the target glances at the pointing hand they fall into a genjutsu where they first see birds and then they turn to kunai that attack them. They are future damaged by being tortured by images of there friend insulting them.
Note:This is an advanced sharingan genjutsu.

A genjutsu that Itachi used against Naruto with the aim of causing him to pass out. He pointed his hand and caused a flock of crows to fly towards Naruto, that swiftly turn into shuriken that pierce the target and slash him, causing pain. As this happens, the pain is intended to break the target's concentration and fall asleep. However, they likely won't and will stay woke, trying to resist the genjutsu. As this happens, they see their body parts changing into the faces and bodies of their old friends and allies, tormenting and ridiculing them. This mental torture is used with the goal of causing the enemy to pass out and faint in the genjutsu while forcing them to sleep in the real world. A vid link is below that shows how it looks when used.

(Doujutsu: Chuubo no Yuuku) – Eye Technique: Paralyzing Fear
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will cast a Genjutsu upon the target in which they will see a shadowy figure appear infront of them bearing the Sharingan and then the figure will grow to an enormous size over shadowing the target in pitch-black darkness. The figure will then grab hold of the target and then will cover them in black threads, leaving them paralyzed for a period of time. (This was shown by sasuke against Shi)
Note: Must have tomoe 3 to use and paralyzing effects last 1 turn.

By having a line of sight to the foe, you cast a genjutsu on them that causes them to see a massive figure in front of them that bears the Sharingan. This figure grabs the target and causes paralyazation to come into effect for a turn.

( Dōjutsu: Jigokuken ) - Eye Technique: Sword Hell
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Descrption: The user casts the illusion upon the opponent where the surroundings similary to Tsukiyomi go black and white and swords then begin levitating around the user and the opponent spinning around before the user then manipulates the swords to peirce the opponents body. The initial attack causes mental damage and temporarily paralyses the opponents body restricting their overall performance. (paralysing lasts 1 turn)
Note: Can only be used with tomo 3 sharingan.

Similar to the above, you cause the opponent to see several swords around them this time, all of which pierce the body and prevent movement while causing mental damage ( this should be edited to reflect this btw ) and 1 turn paralyzation as well.

(Doujutsu: Hazumi no Reikon) - Eye Technique: Bound by Soul Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will cast a genjutsu that immobilizes the target. In the genjutsu the target is bound to a leaf spinning around in the dark. This technique temporarily binds the target leaving them open to attack. (this technique is shown when sasuke tried to bind killer bee in genjutsu but to ill effect from being released by his bijuu).
Note: Must have tomo 3 sharingan and bind lasting 1 turn.

Once more, as you see, this Genjutsu also incapacitates the enemy for a single turn, this time bound to a leaf spinning in the dark.

You can see the similarities between all of these rather easily.

You can use some of them lol but next are Sharingan Genjutsu that require eye sight. These are the harder ones to pull off, but often more rewarding and powerful compared to the last group I taught you. Some of these, as you may notice, have the ability to affect long range foes.

( Doujutsu: Genjutsu Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye Illusion
Rank: C - S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15 - 40
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique is simply the use of generic genjutsu used by members of the Uchiha clan. By simply having their opponents look into their eyes, the Uchiha can lock the user within a genjutsu of their choosing.
Note: Can only be used with 3 tomoe sharingan

Possibly, the best Sharingan genjutsu there is. its used to make pretty much any genjutsu the user wishes "given that it's logical enough" through eye contact, yes, any genjutsu you want can be done by this technique, it doesn't mean posting a technique, only using your imagination to create a genjutsu, it doesn't mean that you have to use a cannon genjutsu through eye contact, the technique itself is a genjutsu, but the condition to meet for it is hard, which is mutual eye contact. The usage for this technique can vary, given that there are different types of genjutsu, it can be used as one to deceive your opponent, or paralyze them using chains or similar means, it can go as far as to control your opponent's movements and force them to do something "one of the Sharingan genjutsu's abilities", which is why custom Sharingan genjutsu is banned from submission, this technique compensates for that.

Bōshi Magen: Nenshou Kamihada ) Demonic Eye Illusion: Burning Paper Body
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user casts a Genjutsu that makes the opponent believe that their body is made of paper and is burning, reducing their dexterity of movement, stopping them from performing handseals.
Note: Requires three tomoe Sharingan and eye contact

Itachi performed this in the anime and it was unnamed at the time, just known as an unspecified generic Sharingan genjutsu. This is one of the various jutsus they used. Looking at the foe's eyes, you trap them in this genjutsu where they believe their limbs are paper and as such, are scared to move their bodies much due to this fear.

( Bōshi Magen: Ketataumo ) Demonic Eye Illusion: Piercing Feathers
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage: N/A
A weaker version of Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes, it makes the opponent believe that numerous black feathers have pierced their body and trapped them, causing them pain and immobility.
Note: Requires two tomoe Sharingan and eye contact to use

I had previously looked for this one but was unable to locate it. Riker found a pic for it during his training. But it's essentially a genjutsu created through eye contact, that causes them to believe a lot of feathers have pierced the body and trapped them, causing them mental pain and preventing movement.

(Bōshi Magen: Kasegui no Jutsu) - Demonic Eye Illusion : Shackling Stakes
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Close
Chakra Cost:30
Damage Points: N/A
Description:A Genjutsu technique unique to the Uchiha bloodline Sharingan holders. After activating their Sharingan, the clan member will look into the eyes of their target to bind them with a paralyzing illusion. This illusion takes the form of giant spikes which stake them in place and restrict their movement. A powerful enough ninja will be able to fight the bind to give themselves an opportunity to gain freedom.
Note: Requires Tomo 3 sharingan.

Pretty much an advanced version of Piercing Feathers, you lock eyes and bind them in an illusion where they are bound by giant spikes that pierce them in lock them into place. A ninja of high enough rank (read: higher rank) will be able to fight the binding off and move while the spikes are pierced through them, though to little effect if you cause them to pierce the right places, like joints of the limbs.
