I meant he inherited his Dojutsu from his grandmother & who did the Sage inherit his eyes from his ass? Clearly his mom regardless which dojutsu she possessed, Indra's dojutsu was passed down regressing from his grandmother, to his father and to him.

We still don't know if the Byakugan is Kayuga's or from the Fruit. We can't really say who inherited what.

Ot I dont think they can be combined but we will have to wait and see not all uchia have cursed eyes read the manga. It is stated three times by two people that I can remember off the top of my head.
