To be honest i really don't know if there is that much of a difference between a 1 tomoe sharingan and 2 tomoe shanringan but i believe that a 2 tomoe sharingan gives you the ability of better tracking the movements made by the opponent. It also Copies all motion perceived. An Uchiha with a 2 tomoe sharingan has the ability to break the lower ranked genjutsus.
This explains a lot;
A: Ability to see color.
1: Motion perception.
2: Copies all motion perceived.
3: Prediction motion- inferring through rational physics the action about to take place.
B: Ties pupils together for the ability to understand what one sees without getting confused. Without it, you would have three different eyes looking in three different directions and no idea what to focus on or what’s going on.

To achieve the 2T Sharingan you need to go through 2 training sessions.
First training session: The student will begin with his/her Sharingan activated. The Sensei will be focused into teaching Sharingan's tracking abilities, by hiding himself/herself in diferent terrains such as at the bottom of the Lake, between trees deep into the forest, underground, in a Rocky Environment and dessert. The student will have to find his/her sensei's location using only his Sharingan, by seeking out chakra signals, heat source, the slightest moves.
Now time to start training, in this session i will vanish in a random place and with your Sharingan you will try to track me, through the faint chakra traces, heat signature and the slightest movements.
Hide and seek time Vanishes in a random place unkown to you.

Seeing how you disappeared and have hidden yourself pretty well, i begin to study the surrounding area, looking for any sign of your chakra, heat signature or slightest movement around the area. I continue to look at around and out of nowhere, i hear a sound in the lake on my right side. So i quickly walk over towards it and notice two heat signatures in the water, one bigger than the other. I throw a rock in the lake and the small heat signature quickly swims away while the bigger heat signature just moved a little to right side of the lake, i then see two foot prints before the lake and i make the conclusion, that it's indeed you.

You disappear yet again, I with my 1 tomoe sharingan activated, start to look for you somewhere else, since you wouldn't dare hide close by the lake, I move to my left side, leaving the area close to the lake. I start to study the surrounding area again, then i hear some noises in some bushes close by a forest. I walk towards the bushes and with my sharingan, i notice a heat signature, i take my bottle of whiskey from bag and i start to drink before, noticing that it's only a rabbit, that stares at me and I say "Silly rabbit whiskey is for me!" I continue to walk towards the forest and i notice some leafs falling from a tree in front of me and mid-range away from me, I start to look for chakra signatures, i then see that someone has climb the large tree, by looking at the foot prints. I then look up and i see a chakra signature. Hmm, silly Vision, i found you!

Without warning i quickly place you under a genjutsu where there is a huge fireball is coming from the sky. However before hand I make a dummy handseal and raise my hand as if i am doing some kind of motion. As I raise my hand you are in my genjutsu, staring death, however you don't know it yet as you are not looking up at the sky.

With my 1 tomoe sharinagn activated, i witness you perform a hand seal and raising your hand into the sky. Weirdly nothing happens but remembering that you did raise your hands, it gave me the idea to quickly look at the sky and i notice a huge fire ball coming from the sky, with my sharingan activated, i notice that the fire ball has no chakra signatures, if the fire ball had been a real jutsu, it would have some kind of chakra signature. So i quickly begin to examine my chakra network confirming that i'm trapped under your genjutsu because I see my chakra swirling in an unusual pattern. I quickly perform one hand seal to focus and I then proceed to disturb my chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then spiking my spiritual energy, unbalancing my chakra.

You are in paradise, relaxed, nothing is happening but you just want to fall asleep.
After hearing you say the following "Think fast" i begin to notice the area changing. I had a lot of energy but for some weird reason, i was getting really sleepy, so i was wondering what was going on. As i'm fighting my body to not fall sleep, i begin to study the surroundings and notice, water falls, flowers all over the place,a beautiful grassy field. right there, i knew something was wrong because i was in front of you with a forest behind you and a lake to your right side. So before i fall asleep, still fighting my body, i notice that my chakra is not flowing normally, so right there,I apply chakra to my eyes and I confirm that I was place under a Genjutsu. I fall into the ground, hoping to not fall asleep, i reach to my pocket and i take out a kunai. I then cut myself in the arm, causing pain and with a blink of my eyes, I am back in reality.

my description was a trick..... you do not fall asleep through that genjutsu.
and by applying chakra into your eyes you pierce through the genjutsu, no need for using pain to get out of it. You already got out of it :|
