Sharingan ° S/T | Relation
Sharingan is one of the three sacred dojutsus which gives the user insight over the enemy’s movement set.
All Uchiha’s who awaken the sharingan are able to access two distinct abilities :
Dosatsugan (Insight) and Saimingan (Hypnotism)
The first ability; Insight has two distinct values . The first one is being able to see and notice an enemy body movements in a higher scale than normal human eyes. The second is being capable of seeing chakra traces in colour.

Tsukuyomi
Itachi is depicted as a master of illusions. Tsukuyomi is represented as a parallel illusion world created by the genjutsu caster which gives the user divine control over those conditions. It is also knows as Seishinkai to Yami literally meaning Pure Darkness which represents Spiritual world of semblance and fantasy.
Itachi calls his Tsukuyomi dimension ; the "World of the Grasping Moon"
Kakashi witnesses firsthand the manipulation of time inside the Grasping Moon illusion
Danzo stating that Itachi’s Tsukuyomi could alter the perception of time inside the Grasping Moon
Kamui
Kamui in contrast to Tsukuyomi which creates an Illusion world has its own parallel physical time-space dimension. Obito can also transport objects from the other dimension into the real world.This ability also allows for the user to sync with other lateral dimensions which are owned by others as shown in the recent chapters by Obito.
Limbo Hengoku
I believe that Limbo is also a space time technique. Madara already stated that his Limbo clones exist in another dimension. He referred to it as : “my other self from another dimension” This technique projects a clone of oneself which is invisible by the normal human eye. The actual technique first word Limbo refers to Rinbo which is namely described as Purgatory .
In Christian literature Limbo is depicted as the "Edge of Hell". This is another connection to the Shinsekai to Yami.
The eye of Juubi /Mother of all chakra (Rinnegan)
The Juubi jinchuriki can be host to a very special dojutsuu and eye technique which resembles a Sharingan with several more tomoes around it. The mentioned technique has only been shown to be used by Kaguya Ootsuki. This technique can rift the very own space of the existing world and connect it to other dimensions throughout a Space-Time Portal.

I mentioned how the first ability of the Sharingan is Insight namely Dosatsugan which makes one able to see and notice an enemy body movements in a higher scale than normal human eyes. It is a known fact how a Sharingan wielder can see a move set into a slow time-lapse which makes him able to react faster to danger in the physical world.
I believe that the Sharingan uses a similar concept to space time genjutsu of Tsukuyomi which alters the user’s brain. Tsukuyomi again as mentioned by Danzo alters the perception of time. The Dosatsugan could be altering the perception of time itself into the users brain. For you that have watched Code:Geass I would describe it as Rolo’s ability to manipulate other people’s sense of time in reverse.
Tobirama already established that the Sharingan’s power stems from the brain. Base Sharingan in itself is an imperfect imitation striving to S/T techniques which leads to high grade abilities like Kamui and Kaguya’s Dimensional shifting. The Sharingan always barely aims to be a Rinnegan since its infancy which it cannot do without Asura’s power.
