Greetings, my favorite puppet Kazekage... I understand you need to be reminded how your Iron Sand ability works? Well then, why don't we start with the theory; tell me what magnetism is, how we as ninja control it, what iron and iron sand are, and how that relates shinobi manipulating magnetism and magnetic forces. Use as much description as you must.

Magnetism is a force exerted by magnets upon other objects or magnets. Through sorts of currents an electric field is generated which exposes the properties we see among magnets. Magnetism is controlled by ninjas by turning their chakra into magnetic fields and magnetizing objects. iron is a metal which can be controlled by magnets. iron sand is a fine powder made from iron resembling sand. ninja such as the third kazekage magnetize objects, in this case the iron sand and using their chakra to exert a magnetic push or pull against that object the iron sand control it be it bring the sand together to form shuriken or large blocks and push them forwards to attack.

Excellent, very good... Now we move onto adjusting your chakra so as to be able to create these magnetic pulses you spoke of. However, in order for this to work, you must trust me. Sit and meditate, and no matter what happens, don't move.
As Sasori's student began meditating, Sasori began to release Iron Sand from within his 3rd Kazekage puppet's mouth. As the Iron Sand began to fill the training area, it formed into various spikes around the 3rd Kazekage, who was meditating. As the spikes form, a magnetic field is created between each of them. The strong magnetic field surrounding the man, as he molds his chakra, will eventually influence his chakra in order to form Jiton chakra, which will be the first step of learning to manipulate Iron Sand.

I remain in a meditated state chanelling my chakra while slightly becoming aware of magentic forces surrounding me , as they grow stronger they seem to hve a strogner influence on me, i try to memorize this feeling and try to atune my chakra to reflect what i feel.

Can you feel your chakra becoming one with the magnetic fields? Then why don't we test just how in tune your chakra is... Release your chakra as you have felt it influenced by the magnetic forces into the latent iron sand around you. Use your chakra as you would normal shape manipulation as it enters the sand to form basic tools from the sand, your magnetic chakra holding the sand grains together. Once you have done this, I would like for you to explain some of the uses and drawbacks of the technique.

breaking my concentration only to understand instructions given to me by sensei, i proceed to reevaluate how i felt when my chakra was in contact with the magnetic fields, once fully memorized with the magnetic influence i try to manipulate my chakra to recreate how it felt before. This time channeling the chakra into the iron sand and manipulating it into a kunai with my magnetic chakra now holding the iron grains together. Holding the kunai, i think about it's drawbacks and uses. This technique can be used to make tools in battle out of sand if you dont have any one you or you have used them. you can also gather the sand together to make a small shield perhaps. Drawbacks include having to use chakra, speed being slower than just pulling one out.

Your next task is to manipulate your chakra to create magnetic fields in order to collect iron sand high up in the air, and condense it into the form of large senbon; aim for about a meter and a half long. Then, show your control over the needles. Once again, creative uses and drawbacks are required; you must understand to be able to truly use your technique.

manipulating my chakra into a magnetic field i cause it to interact with the surrounding iron sand making it levitate upwards and then manipulating the shad to come together and join via magnetic pull into the shape of senbon needles about half a meter long, i make the needles levitate around spin, clash with one another and finally i launch them forward taking down a near by structure.
Creative uses include using the senbon as a direct attack or launch them from differant angles trying to cover escape routes and making blocking allot harder. They can also be used as a possible defence. Drawbacks might include not being strong enough to get past certain walls or defences, sand rising and joining giving away an upcoming attack and the element of surprise.

This next technique is very similar to the last one we just did. Use your chakra to create magnetic forces in order to compress Iron Sand into countless normal-sized senbon. From there, you may send them outwards in a barrage of iron senbon which have strength identical to normal ones, and speed slightly exceeding normal ones via the push created with your magnetic chakra.

use my chakra in manipulate into forming magnetic forces and channel them into the nearby iron sand manipulating the sand to rise and compress into many normal sized senbon that i release forward, they fly forward at speeds slightly greater then if normally thrown. The sendom can be used in waves one after the other forming multiple stage based attacks angle inwards from differnt areas or rain down all at once. Drawbacks include nothing special in terms of strenght and need to be formed via magnetic manipulation before use.


Could we move on with 2 techniques?

Though they may be nothing special in strength, because they're formed by magnetic manipulation they can be created anywhere within range, and then be manipulated easily at will. I find it a very useful technique for surprise attacks.

Description: The user transforms iron sand into multiple senbon and launches them toward the enemy.
Now, the first of these next two techniques utilizes Magnetism to draw Iron Sand together in front of you in the form of a shield. By using your magnetic chakra, hold the Iron Sand particles together closely so that it can defend from a great number of attacks.
Now, the other technique mimics Doton by giving the appearance that spikes of Iron Sand grow from the ground. In reality, you manipulate the Iron Sand to collect on the ground, and then cause the iron particles to rise upwards, making more and more particles of Iron Sand to rise while using your Magnetic chakra to hold the sand in the shape of a spike. So, try performing this technique with one spike at a time, before attempting many at once.

i channel my magnetic chakra into iron sand surrounding my making them levitate and i bring them together infront of me, i manipulate the iron sand to compress together and form a shield, the sand are held very tightly together making it good for blocking certain attacks. creatives user / advantages include, use the iron sand to form a shield to block against say a kenjutsu strike and then form that iron sand into another technique such as Iron Sand Shower and strike the opponent or any other elemental attack. Disadvantage to this technique would be that it doesnt cover you form all sides only the front so you are still vulnerable form around yourself.



istart by collecting iron sand on the ground near by, by channeling my chakra into the sand and moving them together from there i manipulate the iron sand to rise up layer by layer of iron sand holding each layer together with my magnetic chakra intil it forms a spike, i release my magnetic chakra and allow the iron sand to drop accumulating on the same spot i repeat the procedure but faster and once again i repeat it the iron sand build up faster into an iron spike. This time i pool together more iron sand, manipulating 2 iron spike at a time, i cause the layer to build up once again simultaneously creating two spikes. i repeat this once more with more speed, as i felt comfortable, i tried it with three spikes once again pooling together more iron sand and causing the spikes to rise as i hold the iron sand together with magnetism. Creative uses include, blocking certain on coming projectiles with the technique and then repeating it from underneath the user piercing through him. Or use them prom the begining to attack from underneath and force the opponent to evade/ dodge allowing you to manipulate opponents position and follow up with another attack. Disadvantages include iron sand could potentially be seen buildingup on the ground beneath.

That is good... Just a comment, as your description of "dropping" Iron Sand is somewhat confusing, he spikes in the second technique only rise up out of the ground, which is caused by multiple layers being created quickly together to give the illusion of a spike erupting from the ground like doton.

This next technique essentially combines the two we just did; use your Magnetic Chakra to collect Iron Sand before you into a solid wall, and from that wall cause spikes to protrude outwards, either from extra Iron Sand or by changing the wall's actual shape to make spikes. The difference between the two methods is that one causes the hollow inside of the spikes to be seen from your point of view, while the other simply creates spikes on one side while your side is flat.
The next technique mobilizes the spike technique from before. First, collect your Magnetic Chakra before you to draw Iron Sand into the shape of a long, but not very wide floating spike. You can then manipulate this spike up to mid-range away from your body, using your Magnetic Chakra to move it from a distance. However, the spike must be created close to you.

i channel my chakra into the iron sand present in the immediate vincinity, causing it to gather infornt of my as i manipulate ht e iron sand into a wall that is being held together by my magnetic chakra, after that is complete i further manipulate the iron sand present in the wall i have created to jut out ward in several areas of the wall, creating a wall with spikes protruding out of it, the area that protruded can be seen form my end as a hollow spike. An advantage to this is that it serves as a defence like the preveous technique but can actually also do harm to an opponent that make contact with the spikes. A disadvantage i see is the main use of this tech is as a defence the spikes although useful would take slightly longer to manifest.


channeling my chakra into the iron sand present around me i make it rise up short range right beside me to the right, manipulating it into the shape of a spear held together by my chakra, it is not to wide but quite long, i then manipulate the iron sand spear to move mid range from me, making it float there before bring it back and then thrusting it forward with great speed. Okay an advantage to this is that the spear itself if it hit an opponent would most likely cause datal damage. a disadvantage is that the spear has to be made short range from you where the oppponent will take notice of the weapon being creating giving the attack possibly away.

Good... One final note about that second jutsu; when you make the spike, you can create it short at first, and then quickly extend it by hollowing the spike and using the iron sand from inside the now-hollow spike as a medium to extend it quickly and without warning.

Description: Nearby iron sand begins to gather and create a long spike that can easily pierce through an enemy at short range or hurled at a close target at mid-range.
The next technique is very similar to the wall you created earlier. However, it's performed on a larger scale. First release a cloud of iron sand around yourself, and then pull it back around yourself with your magnetic chakra to form a dome of iron sand. It's that simple.
The second technique allows you to collect your iron sand in your hand to form a hammer. This hammer can be a very large-faced, destructive-impact-type hammer, or it could be a long-handled War Hammer; it's your decision, but either way the hammers are generally larger than practical hammers because your manipulation of magnetic fields makes it feel lighter and easier to swing, while still having the impact of a large, heavy hammer. However, you cannot make the hammer float and manipulate it at range; the only time you can come close to that is to repel it away from your body at close-range to your opponent, after which the hammer will disperse.

I channel my chakra into the iron sand present and make it disperse around me and above me. I manipulate the sand to come together while maintaining that distance from me and using my chakra to hold it all together i form a multi directional shield like dome around me. The benefits of a defensive technique like this is that the dome would protect form all sides rather than one directional like tradition shield like jutsu would. Disadvantages to such jutsus are you lose sight of your opponent. and they can be countered by attacking from beneath the ground as well.


I release my chakra form the iron sand dome, letting the sand fall apart as i channel it back in to a small amount of iron sand and cause it to float toward my palm and form a large handle that i grasp. Then i form the blunt part of the hammer a verry large cylinder like object atop the staffish handle. I swing the hammer back and forth before repeling it away from my body short range and letting it disperse. Advanatges to this technique are that you can form a weapon when needed and not carry one along with you. The hammer is easier to wield due to magnetic chakra properties and if broken another can be made.
To combat such a jutsu you can use your own weapon or make the opponent release the hammer by some mans or force them to make handseals dropping the hammer.

I am guessing one must maintain focus on the hammer and cannot use another jutsu as long as the hammer is being used?

The hammer technique was originally used with the puppet above an opponent, and creating a truly massive hammer that simply drops down, rather than being used as a weapon... Just as a reference to where it came from. Because of that, I think you wouldn't be able to use other techniques while holding the hammer together, as it's meant to simply be repelled (downwards) towards the opponent from a short distance.

These next two techniques are very similar to each other. The first begins by you releasing Iron Sand into the air above your target, and then quickly condensing the floating iron sand into a spike which grows quickly downwards to impale an enemy from above.
The second is very similar to Magnetism Release: Iron Sand Chain. Simply gather a large amount of Iron Sand on the ground around your target, and cause spikes to "grow" upwards from the ground, branching in a variety of directions. I guess the only true difference is the range this technique can be used at, and the area these spikes can take up, both of which are far greater than the weaker counterpart.

i cahnnel my chakra into the iron sand present around me manipulating it to float over my opponent. With great speeds if urther manipulate the iron sand to come together into a spike that grows downwards to impale the opponent. Advantages to this technique are that they strike the opponent form above downwards, making it harder to evade. The spike also would be lethal if it hits. Also the technique is quite fast and requires no hand seals like most other iron sand techs. A disadvantage or drawback is that the opponent can see the iron sand building up above them and take an evasive maneuver.


I create magnetic forces through my chakra and channel it through the iron sand manipulating it to gather around the opponent. I then make the iron sand build upwards into many spike that shoot form differant angle and directions into the opponent stabbing them in multiple parts. Advantages here are that the technique has increased range like you mentioned strikes from under the ground forcing an opponent to sometimes jump or take to the air via some means, which is a vulnerable position. The jutsu also covers a decent area making it likely to hit. Drawback that i found are that again pooling of sand around opponent if caught early enough can make the attack useless.

Description: The user unleashes numerous devastating spikes of iron sand from underneath the area of the target and protrude out of the ground.
This first technique is quite simple in both concept and performance, but is very deadly when executed properly. First, you release Iron Sand into the vicinity. Afterwards, you cause your Iron Sand to surround your opponent from all sides and encase him. Once your opponent is completely encased by the Iron Sand, cause the sand to compress even more and crush him to death.
This last jutsu is a forbidden-ranked technique, only to be used under extreme circumstances. First, condense two very large spheres of Iron Sand above you in the sky, and make the polarities of each of the spheres different from each other. This will naturally draw them together. As the two spheres begin to merge, alter the polarity of one of them so that the entire mass has one polarity, which will cause it to repel itself. As the Iron Sand naturally repels itself, it will create a large spider-web of intricate Iron Sand which spreads out in an erratic behavior which you will have some control over with your magnetic chakra. As these large, dense Iron Sand spikes pierce the ground and, most likely, an opponent who doesn't block correctly, you can further manipulate that Iron Sand to flow as you wish for further techniques.
