What's your opinion on this? Should there be a Sharia ( Islamic ) law in some parts of the UK? I think it'd be good, especially in the city of London where a lot of muslims live. Not only the UK, it could also work in other European countries like Germany & France.

Sharia law is not compliant with actual law in many cases, so no. Besides, the EDL would go insane.

no. are you aware that no muslim countries fully abide by sharia law? not even saudi (they have select few sharia laws but not the entire law) so why should a predominantly christian country (or any non muslim country) for that matter abide by a law which not even the muslim countries follow.

Some centuries ago Middle Eastern countries were a colony of the UK.
Now UK is a colony of Middle Eastern countries.

As a muslim i disagree.Muslims from Europe who want fully live their religion must go in a muslim country, it's an obligation in the Quran.

4:97-99

Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination.

Except for the oppressed among men, women and children who cannot devise a plan nor are they directed to a way -

For those it is expected that Allah will pardon them, and Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.

There are many otehr verses.

As much as I respect the opinions of those with different beliefs, I do not think Sharia law should apply anywhere in the UK or Europe.

Those who wish to live under Sharia law should move to a place where it is already prominent. Otherwise, they must abide to the rules and systems that are already in place within the country.

It will destroy your country if you do.

There is one legal facet that must be enforced within a country - and that is the rights of citizens. The problem with allowing Sharia Law into your nation is that the practice of it conflicts with many of the rights your country's citizens are supposed to have.

When you allow Sharia Law to take root in your country, you are basically allowing another sovereign territory to operate within your borders, under your protection, deluding you into thinking it is part of your country.

But, there again, today's youth need a good kick in the mouth from reality. Go ahead. Allow Sharia Law to take root in your country. When you get involuntarily incorporated into it a few years later, you'd better find it within you to build one of the guns you so willingly gave up, or get really good with a slingshot.

No. When people come to different countries they -must- follow the laws, culture etc of the said country. If they wish to follow the other rules they should stay or go to a country which follow the rules they like. So here's a big fat no to all the people who think they can come into a foreign country and demand changes to fit their needs.

In an era where nations should have a uniform civil code based on equality and human rights, GB a developed nation is getting it all backwards. Creating a divide in the society based on religion is a last thing a nation should do. They should come to their senses soon and stop it.

The intolerance and inequality is a citizen derived problem in the UK. Average folk have been raised in a culture where being foreign, gay, or a woman demands sub-standard treatment because they're either inferior or unnatural. As I've grown up, I've realised how the majority of people on these islands have a rather uninformed, stubborn outlook. They blindly follow their predecessors in outlooks and few question whether they're being apt overall.
