This post encompasses part three (3) of an S-rank mission containing the following storyboard elements:
Combat Mission Requirements:
  • The events of this post take place in Keishi, but clones of Kinrah can be found anywhere in the Land of Fire.
  • Your mission must be S-Rank. Unlike the last mission, which dealt with rogue shinobi this mission is far more difficult and dangerous. You are dealing with the shades of the woman named Kinrah, former patient of a hospital. She has no formal ninja training, and yet she is immensely powerful. This mission should represent high difficulty for most that engage her shade. Her parameters are as followed:
    • 220 Health Points
    • 2,500 Chakra
    • Base movement speed of 28.
    • She has incredible physical durability, able to reduce all damage done to her by 50.
    • Every three turns she is capable of evading all damage, her body flickering in and out of existence as if like purple static on a television.
    • You lose 5 Sanity per turn by being within mid-range of her. This stacks with Sanity loss from her Shinkaigan.
    • She is a master of the Eight Inner Gates. You may engage with this at your discretion, though it should be used to some degree during the fight. She is also a wielder of the base Shinkaigan, though has none of its techniques.
    • Kinrah has gone completely insane. But in her mind she is entirely normal.
  • This mission must take place in the Land of Fire.
  • You are to use lethal force against this clone.

- Every post encompassed one round, i.e. a complete turn by each of the two participants performing three distinct techniques/moves.

There were voices in his head now, whispering unintelligibly in his ringing ears just as Hawke was trying to think clearly. He had heard voices before, what fighting man worth his salt had not? But that feeling of a shard of glass in his head would not subside and the connection between the two worried him.

The surprise attack had gotten the jump on him, Hawke had to admit, but it was only the first of some troubling realizations he came to while backpedaling away from the now very aggressive Kinrah. It only took Hawke a moment to understand that, while he had the upper hand when it came to outright running, the girl’s speed did not drop at all in the ultraclose quarters that was the blow-by-blow of fist fighting. As he used the few meters between them to string together a little handful of handseals that knowledge brought him to the unavoidable conclusion that the fight would be a painful one.

( Iryō Ninjutsu: Iryō Mōdo ) - Medical Technique: Medical Mode [HAWKE (1/3)]

Description: After forming 4 hand seals, this mode envelops the user in a flowing blue chakra and allows them to constantly heal themselves in the midst of battle while at the same time boosting their stamina and vitality as it replenishes their strength and health. The limitation of the technique in terms of healing is it's low speed and inability to heal lost limbs. The technique lasts for three turns before deactivation.
Note: Must have medical training.
Note: Can only be used twice per event.

As a blue aura of chakra enveloped Hawke he suddenly stopped on a dime, letting Kinrah close the gap between them in a flash as the woman obliged her enemy. Garrett barely managed the first syllable of a curse before the little miss’ right fist struck the side of his jaw like a sledgehammer. The blow sent him spinning, staggering sideways one tooth poorer, but one quickly became two as the follow-up left hook hammered against his temple before he could even think of a response.

(Kodzuku) Punch [KINRAH]

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply use one of his hands to deliver a simple punch by clenching his fist and swinging his arm. The user is free to do variations of a basic frontal punch and the technique though simple, can be deadly for strong users.
The glow of the algal sludge covering Hawke grew brighter as it and the blue chakra covering Hawke healed the damage, but at that moment all he wanted was some willow bark to chew on. He was not down for the count however. His physical resistance could take punches like that, painful as they were. Wanting a breath before the next one however, Hawke’s left hand shot out for Dark Sister and with a mighty heave he drew the blade out of its scabbard and swung it directly into a diagonal, crescent slash. The sword, so close to another source of chakra than Hawke, greedily absorbed some of Kinrah’s vitality as it sliced through the air.

(Kumo-Ryū Mikazuki Kiri) - Cloud-Style Crescent Moon Beheading [HAWKE]

Description: The user utilizes a large extent of their physical capabilities to swing their sword in a single large arc, which occurs with such ferocious velocity that the technique can be employed in situations where only a very limited time to react is available. The swing can be used to counter attacks from multiple opponents simultaneously. The technique receives its name due to the entire movement being reminiscent of a crescent moon.
(Kiranai Ken) – Dark Sister [HAWKE (for reference)]

Description: Dark Sister is a beautiful, double-edged longsword forged from Hangurian Ore, with a golden, flame-like pommel and a crossguard of the same material and likeness with a round, cut ruby set in the center on both sides. The longsword is imbued with no offensive capabilities; it is in fact known as the sword that does not cut, even though its edge is sharp. Instead, the blade of Dark Sister is intrinsically connected to the Yang nature of chakra. The longsword serves as a conduit for life energy, naturally absorbing it from selected targets within short range in small amounts (-5 per turn) and storing it. The flat side of the blade functions as a lens and by looking through it the user is able to perceive every detail, both internal and external, of the anatomy of whoever they are looking at, even some more indirect details like their natural lifespan and health pool; chakra reserve, affinities, and signature; and future health problems. Through physical contact Medical Ninja are feely able to use the life energy to heal an amount equal to the life energy absorbed and direct this healing energy to where it is most needed. Dark Sister always quickly returns to its wielder if they mentally will it, though this ability cannot be used offensively.

Kinrah’s reactions were stellar and the woman gracefully weaved her body while stepping backwards, striking just the right angle to let the blade pass by her harmlessly. With the brief moment of respite Hawke could look at the woman through the broadside of his sword. Unfortunately, the move overloaded him with information as Kinrah’s dodge easily flowed into a snapping left back kick that sent him lurching backwards with a breathless oomph sound.

(Kikku) Kick [KINRAH]

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with a kick from one of his legs. He is free to choose simple variations of the kick and the stronger he is, the more dangerous the technique is.
Resilient, fast, full of potential and with a chakra pool to rival any warrior Kinrah was a hell of a woman. Alas, if only she was not completely off the rails. The woman had gone from ‘I see’ to ‘I rise’ and only come to seem more psycho in doing so. All that information was relevant in revealing that Kinrah had another gear, one that Hawke would need to see. She was tough as steel and quick as lightning, but if he could not compete on pure physicals Hawke had some tricks up his sleeve.

Determined, Garrett planted his left foot solidly in the dirt to steady himself, feeling chakra surge through his limbs as both his hands and feet become enveloped in fire. He had to make the girl show her hand first, but he cringed at the thought of what that would mean. Steadfast, he punched at the air. He was no more than a few feet from Kinrah, so the resulting blast of fire took her by surprise and was large enough to singe her right arm even as she rolled to the side.

(Soshi Taijutsu) Elemental Taijutsu [HAWKE]

Description: By focusing on the different elemental chakara's the user is able to manipulate them to fight in hand to hand combat while using their power. This jutsu is considered to be taijutsu and not ninjutsu.
Fire: The user hands and feet become fiery and burn with intense heat, giving the user flaming strikes. And can fire blast of fire opponent.
Wind: The users hands and feet become covered in wind chakara and gain immense cutting power. And can fire wind blasts at the opponent.
Water: The user hands and feet become covered with water and now have cutting power and have the user's hands have the abilty to handle immense heat. And can fire blast of water at the opponent.
Lightning: The user's hands and feet become covered with lightning and can use this to cut stronger, shock the opponent, and can send blast of lightning.
Earth: The user's hands and feet become much harder and give a stronger impact when meeting contact and allow the user to fire needles or rocks of earth at the opponent.
~This jutsu does not have a time limit itself for its not just a jutsu but a method of fighting. It can be activated at any period of time and released at any period of time. As long as its active the user is damaged in small amounts. The user can switch between elements, but the user cannot use jutsus of that element they are controlling~
Something did change with that. Kinrah, obviously extremely averse to being hit – as well as to pain in general Hawke would venture – screamed as if her arm had been cut off and for a moment the muscles in her entire body seemed to ripple. Without the Rinnegan he would never have caught it. The knowledge prepared him in some small part for the harder, better, faster and stronger right-hand slap that rung out as Kinrah closed the distance between them in a flash. Hawke was sure he felt his brain rattle against his skull as the blow sent him crashing sideways once again, this time struggling to maintain his balance at all. Still, Hawke thought as he reset his jaw, there was another gear.

Kinrah, true to form, just screamed more, and the chilling sound of it seemed to bore the shard of glass in his mind deeper into the soft tissue.

( Hachimon ) The Eight Inner Gates [KINRAH (passive)(1/4)]

Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. The user opens the gates in sequence, up to the desired gate to achieve its effects. Opening the gates is a fast process and can be done in mere moments up to the 7th gate. When one initially opens up to a given EIG, that opening lasts up to 4 turns. After completing training, users are capable of opening up to the 5th Gate passively. Opening additional gates after initial activation adds 2 turns per activation. However, there is an exception; opening the last and 8th gate can only lasts for 3 turns.


  • ( Kaimon ) - The Gate of Opening: The user activates The Gate of Opening or First Gate, which is located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so he can begin to access 100% of their strength. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus. This gate adds +5 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 1.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -5 damage per turn.
  • ( Kyūmon ) - The Gate of Healing: The user activates the Gate of Healing or 2nd Gate (also named Rest Gate) which is located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body. This gate adds +10 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -10 damage.
  • ( Seimon ) - The Gate of Life: The user activates the Gate of Life or 3rd Gate which is located in the Spinal cord. The increased blood flow turns the skin red. Allows the user to use Hidden Lotus. This gate adds +15 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Shōmon ) - The Gate of Pain: The user activates the Gate of Pain or 4th Gate (also named Wound Gate) which is located in the Spinal cord, lower than the Seimon. Increases the user's strength and speed. May cause muscle tissue to begin to tear on use. This gate adds +20 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Tomon ) - The Gate of Limit: The user activates the Gate of Limit or 5th gate, which is located in the abdomen. Increases the user's speed and power. This gate adds +30 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3.5x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Keimon ) - Gate of View: The user activates the Gate of View or 6th Gate, located in the stomach. Increases the user's speed and power. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. This gate adds +40 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 4x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -25 damage.
  • ( Kyōmon ) - The Gate of Wonder: The user activates the Gate of Wonder or 7th Gate which is located below the stomach. Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. However, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibers are ripped to shreds after exiting this gate, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. This gate adds +60 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 7x faster. This gate also adds +20 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -40 damage.
  • ( Shimon ) - The Gate of Death: The user activates the Gate of Death or 8th Gate, located at the heart, requiring the user to puncture their chest just above the heart in order to open it, enabling the user to achieve what is described as The Eight Gates Released Formation" ( Hachimon Tonkō no Jin ). Opening this gate will cause the user's blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam, the so-called Steam of Blood ( Chi no Jōki ) from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy while making the heart pump at maximum power. Exceeding the power of every other gate, the user is temporarily granted power far exceeding their normal power, far beyond that of the five Kage. Once activated, those who are capable can perform the Evening Elephant and the Night Guy. The side effect of opening this gate is that it comes at the expense of the user's life, causing the user to crumble to ash after their chakra runs out, having virtually cooked themselves from the inside-out. This is unlike opening the other gates, which simply injure or damage the body. This gate adds +120 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 8x faster and allows the user to warp space with his Taijutsu and its speed.
Note: The EIG users can only open the gates twice per fight, meaning that if he allows the EIG opening to time out, he can only open the EIGs once more during the match.
Note: Starting with the fifth gate, EIG users begin to feel the side effects of each gate as they time out.
Note: The user cannot use other self powering techniques (such as custom variations of Lightning Armor, Sage Mode, etc) while he has EIG opened

(Hirateuchi) Slap [KINRAH]

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with an open hand, slapping him. It can also be used for defensive purposes to slap incoming limbs or weapons.

Hawke Data:
Chakra: 3660 - 70 (-30 -40) = 3590
Health 200 - 70 (-5 -20 -20 -25) + (negated by Yang resilience / healed) = 200

Kinrah Data:
Chakra: 2500 - 0 = 2500
Health: 220 – 0 (-5) + (all damage reduced by 50) = 220

NOTE: The blast-punch is freeform so she definitely resists the damage. I’m not sure how 15 freeform Tai damage computes when there’s +30 from Six Paths Senjutsu and +15 from Elemental Taijutsu, but since punching 60dmg freeform is ridiculous I’m just assuming the damage is negated.

Hawke tried to center his breath to recover from the slap, still feeling painful tenderness in the whole lower half of his face. He had to do something to really rile Kinrah up. If she shifted gears one at a time the battle would simply take too long, not to mention hurt too much for his liking. She was too fast for Hawke to hit and was only getting faster, so Hawke decided to bite the bullet and set a trap in his trap.

Reaching out with both arms Hawke sent black threads of formulae shooting out of his fingertips and toward his enemy. These Shiki Muchi circled outwards in a crescent-like pattern, approaching Kinrah from wide angles on all side before they converged and exploded in a brilliant display of firework. For an unseasoned fighter like her, Hawke wagered that it would seem as if there were only two choices; attack the open middle or retreat before the explosion enveloped her. The distance between them was negligible for her at her speed, after all.

(Namikazeron ♦ Bakuhatsu Ken) – Theory of Waves and Wind ♦ Explosive Fist [HAWKE]

Description: A technique that takes advantage of Namikazerian Fūinjutsu’s ability to form common explosive tags freely and almost instinctively. The Explosive Fist consists of a series of versatile, adaptable Gōken-style movements wherein the user extends a number of Jutsushiki-Sen towards a target (formed from the hands) and creates any number of regular explosive tags on these. The tags are always directional, essentially functioning as shaped charges, and can thus be detonated shockingly close to the user without harming them. This technique is often used to supplement a Taijutsu attack, but can also be used to pressure a target to disengage.
- Can only be used three (3) times per battle.
Hawke’s bet paid off, at least in part. Kinrah saw the tunnel and was struck by tunnel vision, but as she set off in a beeline towards Hawke he noticed yet another rippling of her musculature. That ill omen, along with her now twice-risen speed, again helped Hawke brace himself for the hit somewhat. Nevertheless, the sheer force of the elbow caught him flatfooted as Kinrah buried it in his chest using her other arm for support. A mixed spray of blood and spit exploded from Garrett’s mouth in response. The rest of him was blown backwards airborne along the length of the dirt track. Dark Sister took her due as she struck, but that brought him no comfort as his ribcage throbbed with pain.

(Konoha Kaiganshō) - Leaf Rock Destroying Rise [KINRAH]

Description: A taijutsu technique where the user smashes their elbow into their opponent using the other arm as support. It deals a powerful blow to the target and as the name suggests, is even strong enough to destroy rock formations.
However, Kinrah’s attack, no matter how powerful or fast, inevitably brought her limbs into contact with some of the unexploded sections of the ethereal black threads still sprouting from Hawke’s flailing fingertips. With a hard glint in his eyes Hawke had changed the nature of the Shiki Muchi as his powerful Rinnegan tracked her straight line path to elbow him in the chest. While reeling once again from the woman’s ever-surprising power Hawke felt several sticky points take against his crazed enemy. He immediately threw his hands down, detaching his end of the formula lines from his fingertips and hurling them into the dirt. This made them stick to multiple points along the ground.

By shaping points on a number of Shiki Muchi into forming the characters for ‘bind’ using the Sōjō Kanji-concept this technique allows the user to create physical and self-sustaining bonds that bind one or multiple points together. When the characters for ‘bind’ come into contact with one or multiple targets the seal activates, tethering themselves to the targets on an almost molecular level. Normally this would bind the targets to the user’s fingers, since that is where the Shiki Muchi originate, but through this technique the user is able to freely connect one or more formula lines to one another and even disconnect them from their fingers to tether the target to a different point. The lines used to bind the targets do not interact with physical matter, but can still be severed using energy-based attacks. Their elasticity, thickness and length depend entirely on the user and can be freely adjusted due to the nature of Shiki Muchi. They also retain all the properties of Shiki Muchi, even when disconnected from the user's fingers.

In her eagerness to follow up her attack Kinrah had pursued her target as he was shot backwards. Against the sealing formulae of Namikazeron all her physical gifts were for naught however, as the lines tightened after only a few feet and sent her unexpectedly crashing into the ground. She pulled against her binds with all her strength, but they did not budge no matter what she did. Her incessant chant finally stopped, replaced by sounds of exertion and frustration as she labored. She tried to catch Hawke’s gaze, but his eyes never met hers directly.

“Leave me alone!” She screamed piercingly, voice a mixture of demanding and pleading that Hawke had not heard before. All the while she tried to tear at the binds themselves, but was not even able to touch them. Her movements became more frantic and even more chakra began to pour off of her as her very skin slowly turned first pink and then a deep, bloody red.

Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. The user opens the gates in sequence, up to the desired gate to achieve its effects. Opening the gates is a fast process and can be done in mere moments up to the 7th gate. When one initially opens up to a given EIG, that opening lasts up to 4 turns. After completing training, users are capable of opening up to the 5th Gate passively. Opening additional gates after initial activation adds 2 turns per activation. However, there is an exception; opening the last and 8th gate can only lasts for 3 turns.


  • ( Kaimon ) - The Gate of Opening: The user activates The Gate of Opening or First Gate, which is located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so he can begin to access 100% of their strength. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus. This gate adds +5 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 1.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -5 damage per turn.
  • ( Kyūmon ) - The Gate of Healing: The user activates the Gate of Healing or 2nd Gate (also named Rest Gate) which is located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body. This gate adds +10 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -10 damage.
  • ( Seimon ) - The Gate of Life: The user activates the Gate of Life or 3rd Gate which is located in the Spinal cord. The increased blood flow turns the skin red. Allows the user to use Hidden Lotus. This gate adds +15 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Shōmon ) - The Gate of Pain: The user activates the Gate of Pain or 4th Gate (also named Wound Gate) which is located in the Spinal cord, lower than the Seimon. Increases the user's strength and speed. May cause muscle tissue to begin to tear on use. This gate adds +20 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Tomon ) - The Gate of Limit: The user activates the Gate of Limit or 5th gate, which is located in the abdomen. Increases the user's speed and power. This gate adds +30 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3.5x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Keimon ) - Gate of View: The user activates the Gate of View or 6th Gate, located in the stomach. Increases the user's speed and power. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. This gate adds +40 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 4x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -25 damage.
  • ( Kyōmon ) - The Gate of Wonder: The user activates the Gate of Wonder or 7th Gate which is located below the stomach. Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. However, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibers are ripped to shreds after exiting this gate, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. This gate adds +60 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 7x faster. This gate also adds +20 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -40 damage.
  • ( Shimon ) - The Gate of Death: The user activates the Gate of Death or 8th Gate, located at the heart, requiring the user to puncture their chest just above the heart in order to open it, enabling the user to achieve what is described as The Eight Gates Released Formation" ( Hachimon Tonkō no Jin ). Opening this gate will cause the user's blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam, the so-called Steam of Blood ( Chi no Jōki ) from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy while making the heart pump at maximum power. Exceeding the power of every other gate, the user is temporarily granted power far exceeding their normal power, far beyond that of the five Kage. Once activated, those who are capable can perform the Evening Elephant and the Night Guy. The side effect of opening this gate is that it comes at the expense of the user's life, causing the user to crumble to ash after their chakra runs out, having virtually cooked themselves from the inside-out. This is unlike opening the other gates, which simply injure or damage the body. This gate adds +120 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 8x faster and allows the user to warp space with his Taijutsu and its speed.
Note: The EIG users can only open the gates twice per fight, meaning that if he allows the EIG opening to time out, he can only open the EIGs once more during the match.
Note: Starting with the fifth gate, EIG users begin to feel the side effects of each gate as they time out.

Hawke’s only response was a bloody cough. His body hurt, and although the medical chakra and algae were doing their work well it did not take away the mental weariness that was only growing. It used to be that it was him dealing out the beatings, but thank the Gods for ninjutsu. He had her. Garrett smirked cruelly; a nice roasting would make her really zero in. A few handseals were blazed through with busy hands and then, as the flames around Hawke’s arms and hands faded, he punched the air again. This time the blast of fire was larger; it burned the sides of the surrounding barracks to nothing in a moment as it blazed directly towards Kinrah, enveloping her trapped form in a fiery hell. Her screams were blood-curdling. Even the hairs on Hawke’s neck stood up as she made her pain known to the world.

What a shame the blaze had to burn the bindings as well.

(Katon: Honoo Hando) Fire Style: Flaming Hand [HAWKE]

Kinrah exploded out of the fire like a red wraith from the underworld, skin singed a twisted dark in some places as she continued to scream herself hoarse. Still he could follow her movements, but it was becoming ever more difficult. As the first punch caught him square in the eye Hawke once again resented the ocular prowess of the Rinnegan, so powerful it let him helplessly watch his own beating in unparalleled quality. The second and third struck him simultaneously in the chest and under his chin, lifting him square off his feet. The fourth was a kick that definitely ruptured a testicle. It ranked as the worst experience of Hawke’s decade, right up until the woman’s finishing somersault kick cracked her heel against his pelvis and sent him crashing into the ground some feet away from her.

Hawke knew the enemy would be more careful the next time around, and more powerful to boot. Even children learned when the fire burned them and there was nothing childish about Kinrah that was not also disconcerting. Thus, Hawke knew he had to chance something big and flashy at least once if he wanted to make her think of nothing but destroying him. And when was that backup coming anyway? And how funny was it that he would have rather been dead at that moment than to suffer the pain for a moment longer?

As Hawke was ground into the dirt he found himself laughing uproariously. The way he had set up an entire sequence of moves just to end up with the mother of all groin sprains really tickled his funny bone. Even the whispers, more poignant now in their ill-fated buzzing, seemed to Hawke the funniest thing in the world at that moment. Only there was really nothing funny about it at all. Hawke found his urge to strangle the girl with his bare hands hilarious, but no less compelling.

Driven by the hilarity of violence Hawke strung together a quick series of handseals, releasing thousands upon thousands of tiny petals of atmospheric pressure. They shot out in all directions like bullets and the converged upon the sick woman from every angle, tearing up everything in their path like a hurricane tearing up roots. As close as she was, there was little she could do but backpedal, allowing Hawke some precious time to get back on his feet.

Description: The user will release a massive amount of atmospheric pressure chakra out of their body and then with it form thousands upon thousands of countless small thin but incredibly sharp blades of atmospheric pressure that almost look like light green sakura petals. The blades will completely surround the opponent and can be controlled by the user at will. The blades will all converge onto the opponent and begin cutting the opponent an incredible number of time from all angles possible turning where they stand into nothing but a pile of dust. The large amount of atmospheric pressure contained within the countless blades will cause minor cuts to the user when used.
~Can only be used twice per battle, and no atmospheric pressure the next two turns.
As fast as she was there was simply too many projectiles for Kinrah to dodge all of them. She managed to bob and weave for a few moments, but the sheer volume of them overwhelmed her in the end. The petals cut deep into her skin, leaving their mark everywhere as she once again screeched in distress. Another powerful burst of chakra pulsed from her form again as the telltale sign of rippling muscles made Hawke grind his teeth in woeful anticipation.

Kinrah once again exploded out of a dissipating attack, now sporting a number of cuts to compliment her burns. Her speed had risen again, but with narrowed eyes Hawke could still follow her movements with rapt attention. The sheer ridiculousness of having achieved such speed with her level of training was enough to nearly send Hawke keeling over in laughter. He allow himself a dry chuckle as Kinrah set off into an aggressive jumping kick, extending her right leg out and delivering a heavy leg drop kick onto his left shoulder.

( Koyubi Kōgeki ) - Little Toe Attack [KINRAH]

Description: After opening at least the 4th Inner Gate, the user attacks the opponent with a very powerful and fast extended leg drop kick. Guy used this attack against the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to literally attack its little toe, sending it toppling over, with great force. Its powerful enough to create a large crater upon impact, destroying the nearby area.
Note: Requires the user to have opened at least four of the Eight Gates.
Having made peace with the fact that he was the tortoise to Kinrah’s rabbit, Hawke spent his precious few moments of preparation on aligning himself to take the hit, exhaling just as Kinrah’s leg slammed against his collarbone and the seal on his chest activated. The ground buckled under him upon impact as the woman put her awesome raw power on display. Centered or no, Hawke was still thrown backwards once again, slamming the back of his head into the dirt track he had just laid on seconds earlier. The sensation of a hundred microfractures and their larger cousins having a party in his bones was not a pleasant one.

With a moment to appreciate the welcome distraction of the blue sky Garrett and his inner voices wondered how it had all come to this. It would have never gotten so bad if the Brothers had not abandoned him in his time of need. As he was once against sent barreling away like a toy, Hawke felt pretty confident that they were the guys to blame.

(Fūinjutsu: Hagane Hie no Ikkō) – Sealing Technique: Chilling Steel of the Militant Buddhist [HAWKE]

Description: This technique is a general, sealing-assisted execution of the hard style martial arts exercise known as the ‘Iron Shirt.’ The execution of Hagane Hie no Ikkō requires the user to find his central equilibrium using Zhang Zhuang and then aligning his breath, movement and chakra circulation. This immediate stress plus the spike in heart rate, will activate a small seal that is passively applied to the users chest. This seal further assists the flow of chakra, spreading it and adding a dense sort of chakra to flow around users muscles and body, strengthening it. These actions and chakra flow, combined with the user’s general physique and resistance to damage, can lessen the damage taken by the physical elements of an attack by 20 damage points. The seal functions autonomously, requiring no input from the user.

It was clear to see that Kinrah was eager now, however. The woman had taken up her insane – but also gut-splittingly funny – mantra again after the last increase in power and sought so seize the advantage with a ruthless fervor that Hawke recognized from the description in Fulman’s papers. She followed up with a ferocity that made an unbidden sense of acknowledgement rise up in him. Once again she closed the space between them, open palm outstretched to deliver the mother of all jawbreakers.

(Hirateuchi) Slap [KINRAH]

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with an open hand, slapping him. It can also be used for defensive purposes to slap incoming limbs or weapons.
Finally satisfied with the level of frustration and tired of being a punching bag Hawke simply flexed his fingers, feeling the powers of Deva Path surge through him. A field of gravitational force exploded from him, forming an impenetrable barrier that brought the woman’s strike to a sudden, dead stop.

Description: The Deva Path grants the user the ability to manipulate attractive and repulsive forces with objects and people. These gravity manipulating techniques, however, cannot be performed in rapid succession; the amount of time required to recharge after use varies depending on the scale of the technique used, five seconds being the basic minimum. The Deva Path also grants another ability: Chibaku Tensei which allows the user to create a huge makeshift terrestrial body from all the surrounding matter that is attracted to a black sphere released by this technique.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan biographies with access to the Six Paths Ability.
( Shinra Tensei ) - Divine Punishment [HAWKE]

Description: Using the Deva Paths abilities to manipulate gravitational forces, the user will repulse and push away anything around him up to a given range, in all directions, producing an omni-repulsion effect. The force and repulsive effect is absolute, affecting both energy and matter alike. The technique itself can be used with different ranges/sizes, depending on how much chakra the user spends for the technique and can even, in its smaller form, be sustained, forming a static defensive field instead of a wave-like effect.

Shōkibo - Small Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to short range. The offensive power in this size is not that high as it hits opponents but can still do severe damage. It isn't, however, fatal, boasting a physical 40 damage. If the user focuses this ability with the help of his hands he can sustain a defensive absolute repulsive field around him. He can't, however, do any technique while he is sustaining it and he can only sustain it for 2 turns. Once used, takes one turn cool down to use gravitational related techniques again, becoming when the technique ends.

Chūkibo - Medium Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to mid range. The offensive power in this size is severe, sending opponents flying backwards with enough force to, if not defended properly, leave near fatal physical damage. Although not directly fatal, the technique boasts a physical damage of 80. If the user focuses this ability through one or both hands, he can push away a specific target or technique alone, instead of producing the normal omni-repulsive wave. Once used, takes 2 turns cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.

Ōkibo - Large Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to long range. The offensive power of the technique is devastating and anything in its path that doesn't manage to defend properly is left obliterated. Its fatal if unguarded, boasting a physical damage of 160. Using this techniques poses a great deal of danger to the user as he damages his chakra pathway itself to be able to mold sufficient chakra to perform it. Once used, the user loses the use of any gravitational related techniques for the remainder of the fight and is unable to mold chakra for Rinnegan techniques and S ranks and above for 5 turns.
Note: The technique is immune to normal Elemental Weaknesses and Strengths and as such can't be physically blocked, absorbed or dodged by becoming intangible or similar means. However, the enemies can still use techniques that reduce physical damage to their bodies to survive its effects or escape its range through a fast enough technique. This means that in the large scale, while the technique can't be stopped, avoided or directly countered, enemies can still manage to survive if they are able to reduce the damage done enough.

Kinrah stopped for a moment and simply stared into the field at Hawke, who meticulously avoided meeting her eyes. The woman stood there in silence, the steady sound of her heavy breathing and constant emanation of rolling waves of energy only broken by the hum of the defensive field between them. Her mantra stopped as she stepped as close as she could to the barrier, trying with all her might to push her hand close to Hawke to no avail. Her burnt and scarred simply hung motionless in the air. That was when she began to scream again.

The girl backpedalled with a single leap and then snapped towards Hawke with a burst of speed, throwing herself against the barrier using a flying kick. When the energy repelled her she tried again, appearing behind him this time. Finally she tried a drop-kick, the most powerful one yet, but even this bounced off the field harmlessly, sending her crashing into the ground with a frustrated howl.

For that, Hawke let Dark Sister swallow another smidge of her energy. The barrier had been just in time as his aura of blue medical chakra chose that moment to fade to nothing.

Behind his shimmering field Hawke took a deep, refreshing breath and laughed mockingly in Kinrah’s face. The girl screamed back in his and for a while they were locked in an extremely unsettling shouting match before Kinrah added percussion, slamming her fists relentlessly against the unyielding barrier. That became the new rhythm for a long moment. Unfortunately for Hawke, time seemed to be against him. The shard of glass in his head had grown and multiplied, slithering along his brain stem in ways that he preferred not to think about.

The Brothers had really abandoned him to die in a bubble, pinned down by a rabid freak woman with exactly two thoughts to rub together. She really was the poster child for brawns over brains. The thought made Hawke laugh harder, which in turn made Kinrah scream louder and step up the ferocity of her pummeling. Even the whispering in his head seemed to grow in intensity the more he antagonized the girl.

“Small victories,” Hawke laughed to himself as his body tensed in anticipation of the next, possibly equally painful step of his jury-rigged plan. It took some timing.

Just as suddenly as it had come the barrier fell away into nothing in an instant. Kinrah, who had been putting her entire weight behind her punches, was thrown off balance as the sizzling power of her strike left her vulnerable. Hawke could not help another burst of laughter at the sheer irony of that as he drew his hands together, making use of the moment he had fought for to call on what he found himself hoping would be the deciding attack.

Paper-thin blades of empyrean wind sprung into existence in a pattern only Hawke could see, dozens of them at intervals of length and width crisscrossing simultaneously as their path took them right through the flatfooted Kinrah. It was devastatingly fast and all but invisible; just what the doctor ordered to bring another howl of laughter from Hawke’s lips. Expect none of it happened as he expected.

The technique’s appearance is reminiscent of an atom, with the user acting as the core and the blades fulfilling the role of electrons. Just as atoms possess varying numbers of electron shells so can the user create varying numbers of blades at varying distances, though these must be organized in layers of rings rotating in fixed, circular patterns. The user can thus not control the shape of the technique’s orbit, but is able to freely manipulate its velocity. The blades themselves are paper-thin and can be maintained for a limited time, during which the user can freely create and dispel any number of them, though using them defensively and/or offensively after their initial creation costs a move. The logical nature of the technique’s orbit can be exploited by an opponent to bypass it.

Kinrah was mortal, of that there was no question. The long cuts across her arms and dark, burnt welts on her red skin spoke to that fact. As her entire being flickered like static however, allowing the blades of the nucleus to pass through her harmlessly, Garrett did wonder if some divine figure was holding its hand over her miserable fate. Or perhaps simply condemning him to his. With the distance between them as it was the girl might as well have been breathing down his neck already, so Hawke braced himself once again for the iron expressway that was Kinrah’s dainty fists. He felt the explosion of chakra that announced another gear to Kinrah’s ridiculous power. Head-on in a physical fight Hawke was starting to wonder if he had ever met anyone on her level.

Hawke was prepared for the woman to make a beeline, as she had always done. Instead, Kinrah flickered again and suddenly there was a shadow of movement visible in Hawke’s periphery just as a vicious kick left a permanent print across his right shoulder. The sheer force of it nearly knocked his arm out of its socket and bent Hawke’s considerable frame like a straw before sending it rocketing into the ground with enough power to leave a small crater around his frame. Spitting out another tooth he was only too happy for the small victory of Dark Sister stealing another smidgeon of energy.

Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. The user opens the gates in sequence, up to the desired gate to achieve its effects. Opening the gates is a fast process and can be done in mere moments up to the 7th gate. When one initially opens up to a given EIG, that opening lasts up to 4 turns. After completing training, users are capable of opening up to the 5th Gate passively. Opening additional gates after initial activation adds 2 turns per activation. However, there is an exception; opening the last and 8th gate can only lasts for 3 turns.


  • ( Kaimon ) - The Gate of Opening: The user activates The Gate of Opening or First Gate, which is located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so he can begin to access 100% of their strength. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus. This gate adds +5 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 1.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -5 damage per turn.
  • ( Kyūmon ) - The Gate of Healing: The user activates the Gate of Healing or 2nd Gate (also named Rest Gate) which is located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body. This gate adds +10 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -10 damage.
  • ( Seimon ) - The Gate of Life: The user activates the Gate of Life or 3rd Gate which is located in the Spinal cord. The increased blood flow turns the skin red.   • ( Shōmon ) - The Gate of Pain: The user activates the Gate of Pain or 4th Gate (also named Wound Gate) which is located in the Spinal cord, lower than the Seimon. Increases the user's strength and speed. May cause muscle tissue to begin to tear on use. This gate adds +20 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • ( Tomon ) - The Gate of Limit: The user activates the Gate of Limit or 5th gate, which is located in the abdomen. Increases the user's speed and power.   • ( Keimon ) - Gate of View: The user activates the Gate of View or 6th Gate, located in the stomach. Increases the user's speed and power. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. This gate adds +40 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 4x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -25 damage.
  • ( Kyōmon ) - The Gate of Wonder: The user activates the Gate of Wonder or 7th Gate which is located below the stomach. Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. However, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibers are ripped to shreds after exiting this gate, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. This gate adds +60 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 7x faster. This gate also adds +20 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -40 damage.
  • ( Shimon ) - The Gate of Death: The user activates the Gate of Death or 8th Gate, located at the heart, requiring the user to puncture their chest just above the heart in order to open it, enabling the user to achieve what is described as The Eight Gates Released Formation" ( Hachimon Tonkō no Jin ). Opening this gate will cause the user's blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam, the so-called Steam of Blood ( Chi no Jōki ) from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy while making the heart pump at maximum power. Exceeding the power of every other gate, the user is temporarily granted power far exceeding their normal power, far beyond that of the five Kage. Once activated, those who are capable can perform the Evening Elephant and the Night Guy. The side effect of opening this gate is that it comes at the expense of the user's life, causing the user to crumble to ash after their chakra runs out, having virtually cooked themselves from the inside-out. This is unlike opening the other gates, which simply injure or damage the body. This gate adds +120 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 8x faster and allows the user to warp space with his Taijutsu and its speed.
Note: The EIG users can only open the gates twice per fight, meaning that if he allows the EIG opening to time out, he can only open the EIGs once more during the match.

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with a kick from one of his legs. He is free to choose simple variations of the kick and the stronger he is, the more dangerous the technique is.
Hawke coughed out a spray of blood reminiscent of a shotgun blast in a single harsh, wet retch. Head ringing, muscles aching, he still wasted no time in awakening more of his latent powers and growing a pair of blinking eyes in his neck to avoid another surprise like that. Thank the Gods for the soothing algae doing its work on him. At long last Hawke also made use of Dark Sister's ability to return all the stolen energy within it to him, healing his wounds even further. He tried again with the blades to make some offensive impact, this time without making any outward gesture, but once again Kinrah simply flickered and allowed the blades to pass through her harmlessly. And this time she did not show any hesitation before counterattacking.

Description: Dark Sister is a beautiful, double-edged longsword forged from Hangurian Ore, with a golden, flame-like pommel and a crossguard of the same material and likeness with a round, cut ruby set in the center on both sides. The longsword is imbued with no offensive capabilities; it is in fact known as the sword that does not cut, even though its edge is sharp. Instead, the blade of Dark Sister is intrinsically connected to the Yang nature of chakra. The longsword serves as a conduit for life energy, naturally absorbing it from selected targets within short range in small amounts (-5 per turn) and storing it. The flat side of the blade functions as a lens and by looking through it the user is able to perceive every detail, both internal and external, of the anatomy of whoever they are looking at, even some more indirect details like their natural lifespan and health pool; chakra reserve, affinities, and signature; and future health problems. Through physical contact Medical Ninja are feely able to use the life energy to heal an amount equal to the life energy absorbed and direct this healing energy to where it is most needed. Dark Sister always quickly returns to its wielder if they mentally will it, though this ability cannot be used offensively.

The sound of the petite, red-skinned Kinrah in motion at this speed was like the rumbling crash of a lightning strike and accompanying it was that same, distinct sizzle of ozone. However, unlike lightning the fire came with Kinrah and not after her. The view of her dazzling speed in the full view of his Rinnegan was magnificent. The fire that enveloped her was not summoned by chakra, but rather a product of her raw power in this state. For a moment the voices in his head morphed into what he could swear was applause before reverting to their usual whisperings. When she came at him she was like a phoenix out of the ashes, a sight that made Hawke laugh again as she came down on his body with the weight of a roaring tornado.

( Konoha Gōen Shippū ) -Tree Leaf Roaring Flame Hurricane [KINRAH]

Description: The user unlocks five of the Eight Gates and begins a kick so fast his leg catches on fire. The user then spins around into the air, creating a spiral of flame before bringing his leg down through the centre and into the ground where the fire bursts outwards blasting any enemy within close proximity.
Note: Requires the user to have opened at least five of the Eight Gates.
It was only the ocular prowess of the Rinnegan that allowed him to save himself, a fact that added to Hawke’s sense of discontent as he swallowed the bitter pill of a quick deactivation of Nucleus. A ribcage of bright blue energy shot into being around him, cradling him protectively as Kinrah impacted the structure with a resounding crack that to Hawke’s ears must have reverberated across the entire continent. The structure groaned and buckled slightly under the pressure as a storm of fire washed across its frame in the aftershock of first impact. Ultimately however, it held fast under the onslaught.

This allows him to attack with quick force or to defend just as well, requiring no hand seals to trigger. The user can do this once every two turns and 4 times in total. If the user has an EMS or higher, the damage and/or defense increases by 20 damage or 40 for Rinnegan.
Note: Mangekyou or higher must be active to utilize. Can only be used by Uchiha or Hagoromo.

Kinrah must have felt that the grizzly structure would not budge, so for the 6th time Hawke felt another whoosh as Kinrah’s power spiked once more. It was truly a hilarious phenomenon. He could feel her chakra, wild and untrained, blanketing the area as it poured off of her body like sweat. Emboldened, she returned for the follow-up in a burst of speed, blazing hands smashing a path through the blue bones with such rage that it exited Hawke to his own core. Splinters were torn from the defensive structure as Kinrah screamed with exhaustion in her voice finally evident as she poured her entire being into the attack. The punch that tore through the final line brought her entire body with it, using the downward momentum to drive a final, fiery strike straight through Hawke’s exposed abdomen.

And it succeeded.

The sensation of having an arm punch a hole through his stomach was unpleasant. It was like having someone stick their finger in an open wound, except the finger was a whole hand and the wound was his entire digestive system. Gut wounds were horrific; almost impossible to treat or suture without simply prolonging what was a surefire death by sepsis. Bile did not belong in one’s arteries. Hawke was determined not to let such a wound come without a price for his attacker, however. One good thing about the situation was the fact that, finally, Kinrah was within his grasp and without a clear escape path.

With a flash of his purple Rinnegan eyes a pair of extra arms shot out of Hawke’s shoulders, both closing around the neck of the ferocious woman’s body. He could feel the heat and energy pouring off of her in waves and the sheer pressure of six opened Inner Gates was considerable, but nothing would stop him from finally ending this pain nightmare. Kinrah, using her one free hand, punched him hard in the liver for his trouble, but despite her incredible strength it was too late by then. Not only was Hawke’s natural durability a help here, but with only a moment’s warning he further hardened his body against the strike with the help of an autonomous seal. Luckily for him, the moment his extra hands touched her neck the woman’s entire body went slack and her entire frame simply collapsed on top of Hawke. This forced another moan of pain from his lips as the arm still embedded in his guts squirmed for a moment.

( Shuradō ) - Asura Path [HAWKE (passive)]

Description: The user will activate the Asura Path which grants him the ability to create mechanised armor, augmenting their body with extra limbs and various robotic weaponry. It allows, for example, the user to create up to 6 extra arms which can be used in a variety of ways, such as grabbing their opponent and using a hidden chakra cannon in on the arms to attack him or perform handseals as the user throws kunais or does a Taijutsu move. It can even be used to help perform certain techniques. He can also alter his own head to manifest additional faces with additional pairs of eyes, all linked together. The possibilities are multiple. He can use this activation to access all of the Asura path abilities.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan biographies with access to the Six Paths ability.
Note: When the user wants to change his body, he must activate this technique each time. This is necessary as well for 6 Paths of Pein bios.
(Kodzuku) Punch [KINRAH]

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply use one of his hands to deliver a simple punch by clenching his fist and swinging his arm. The user is free to do variations of a basic frontal punch and the technique though simple, can be deadly for strong users.
(Fūinjutsu: Hagane Hie no Ikkō) – Sealing Technique: Chilling Steel of the Militant Buddhist [HAWKE]

Description: This technique is a general, sealing-assisted execution of the hard style martial arts exercise known as the ‘Iron Shirt.’ The execution of Hagane Hie no Ikkō requires the user to find his central equilibrium using Zhang Zhuang and then aligning his breath, movement and chakra circulation. This immediate stress plus the spike in heart rate, will activate a small seal that is passively applied to the users chest. This seal further assists the flow of chakra, spreading it and adding a dense sort of chakra to flow around users muscles and body, strengthening it. These actions and chakra flow, combined with the user’s general physique and resistance to damage, can lessen the damage taken by the physical elements of an attack by 20 damage points. The seal functions autonomously, requiring no input from the user.
-Must be included in the user’s bio or stated at the beginning of a fight.

-Can only be used by a Tai specialist.
( Iryo Ninjutsu: Ranshinshou ) - Medical Technique: Chaotic Mental Collision [HAWKE]

Description: Manipulating the chakra in their hand, the user can create an electric field to disrupt the target's nervous system. Because the brain and body communicate using electrical impulses, the user can use the field to disrupt the target's ability to move. The result is the commands to move one body part being relayed to another, making it near impossible for the opponent to move unless they have high skill and understanding of the body or with time. This effect can be achieved by making contact with the enemy, preferably near or directly on his spine (neck, lower back, etc). Contact with a single limb or body part will affect only its symmetric counterpart. The effects last for 10 turns unless countered but are short lived in high level taijutsu users ( EIG users, Taijutsu Masters )which have an unparalleled awareness of their body movement, quickly adjusting themselves to their new nervous arrangement and in medical ninjas, who possess a high level of awareness of their own bodily functions, achieving the same effect by pure control and adaptability, causing it to last 5 turns.
Despite himself Hawke felt laughter bubbling out of his stomach, and as much as each breath and hitch left him wracked with pain the grizzled veteran found that he could not help it. The whole situation was simply too funny for words. As he laid in a crater, beneath a monster woman still practically sweating chakra, Garrett found that he could see the funny side. If it was not for the fact that his useless Brothers had left him out to dry the battle really would have been a riot. It was time to end it, however. Hawke’s eyes flashed again as he put one of his free hands on Kinrah’s head and restrained her free hand with the other.

“You’ve been a real arm in my gut,” he told the immobilized girl whose impossible blue eyes were still looking around frantically through fits of laughter. He avoided her gaze still, but did give her a little head pat before he went about his ugly business. The voices in his head grew in volume expectantly, almost as if they knew what was about to happen.

“Hold still,” he advised her. “Else this’ll hurt a whole lot.”

And he began extracting her very soul from her body. Kinrah’s limbs occasionally twitched as the girl tried to learn the new button layout of her nervous system. It did her no good, however, as Hawke felt the firm grip of Human Path take hold of her being. While the technique did its work Hawke felt some calmness return to him as the fight finally seemed to be concluded. Even the pain in his tummy subsided by a few notches as the algal sludge on his body worked its magic. There was an almost Zen-like about the situation and Hawke felt himself sink into a light, calm meditative state, one that was abruptly broken as the very soul of Kinrah was drawn from her body and absorbed by him. He felt a sharp pain throb in his head as the shards of glass in his brain seemed to explode.

( Ningendō ) - Human Path

Description: The user activates the Human Path which grants a Rinnegan user the ability to read the mind of any target by placing his hand on the target's head or chest and yanking the soul out of the body. Though it provides intel by getting well guarded secrets, the technique inevitably kills the target. In the Ninja World, this technique partially draws the target's soul out, leaving them unconscious.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan biographies with access to the Six Paths Ability.
( Kinjutsu: Tamashī no jokyo Jutsu ) - Forbidden Technique: Soul Removal
Type: Offensive / Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short
Chakra: 70
Damage: N/A
Description: By placing their hand on a target's head this technique allows the user to learn everything that the target knows. Once this is done, the target's soul is ripped from their body, killing them. The technique takes some time take full effect but the only thing the target can do is stop the technique before all knowledge is acquired. However, by attacking the user and forcefully making him remove his hand, the soul will be dragged out and the target killed. It is, however, completely useless against clones.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan bios with the (Ningendō) - Human Path active.
Note: Can only be successfully used twice. Requires 2 turns of maintained contact to execute.
