[Discussion] Shanks and Rayleigh know !!!

Very simple and very easy point. Shanks and Rayleigh know where one piece is and what it is. The only reason neither one of them want to go get it is because

•Shanks - wants Luffy to find it. He is already a Yonko and he doesn't want the problems that come with being Pirate King. If you look at it Shanks is a very laid back guy. He like to drink and no one messes with him. If he became the next pirate king everyone would be trying to kill him. Also it could be a sign of respect for Gol D. Rodgers.

Rayleigh- I have no idea why he doesn't go get it

Rayleigh was Vice Captain and now he wanted Luffy to find the One Piece

Rayleigh understands the importance of One Piece,he knows what will happen when someone finds it and its an important part in the new era.He lived his life as a pirate and it would be a waste for him to take it.

The reason shanks doesnt take it isnt cause people would go after him,I am not even sure if he knows where it is.He wasnt anything special on Rogers ship even though even then he was strong.He is also about the new era that comes when someone finds it and for him the head of that era will be luffy.He doesnt want the title because to him it would mean nothing...

i dont think shanks knows where is it. but reighley does but he doesnt want it because his crew allready got it once and now he wants the next generation to get it plus it wud be too much for him since he is old and all..

I think shanks knows because shanks was with the crew up to the day Rodgers died but I will agree that it would probly be mean less to both of them if one if them got it.

well since it may not be a phyical treasure, maybe one piece is just the giveing of your will to a younger generation......


but shanks nor rayleigh want one piece, because they want rogers successor to find it.

I once thought the Strawhat has one piece : reason it was orginally Rodgers hat that he have too shanks and Shanks gave it to Luffy... Ie a treasure to all of them
