Tortour of those who choose who were willing to kill innocent people guilty people and soldiers with no discretion i can say i can muster sympathy for those who made such a choice who belong there but if they didnt well then they have my utmost sympathy

I agree, he should not have been placed in prison.

He should have been executed. He is a ranking Taliban member whose experience will be quite valuable upon his inevitable return to the fighting in Afghanistan.

Like all of the others we've released from that prison - they go back to fighting the war their religious convictions compel them to do.
