They move across the walls,
Don't turn off the lights.
Waiting in the darkness
To give you such a fright.
Pulling blankets over your head,
There's no where to hide.
They can find you any where;
Don't dare to go outside.
They lurk, wait and hide,
Calling out your name.
Feeding on your fears,
To them that's just a game.
Ghostly visitors from beyond
Don't know what keeps them here.
Can't cross over to the light;
For reasons still not clear.
They seem to want to capture,
You and your living soul.
Maybe this is something;
They think will make them whole.
So when you go to bed tonight
Sleep very lightly my friend;
You never know when they may come,
And you will meet your end.
Don't turn off the lights.
Waiting in the darkness
To give you such a fright.
Pulling blankets over your head,
There's no where to hide.
They can find you any where;
Don't dare to go outside.
They lurk, wait and hide,
Calling out your name.
Feeding on your fears,
To them that's just a game.
Ghostly visitors from beyond
Don't know what keeps them here.
Can't cross over to the light;
For reasons still not clear.
They seem to want to capture,
You and your living soul.
