Nara are recognized for their brillant strategic skills and intelligence, which combined with their hidden jutsu, the shadow jutsu manipulation, makes them fearsome and epic. Nara are known allies of the Akimichi and Yamanaka, all from Konoha, who have hold their ground with the famous Ino-Shika-Chou strategy.

Shadow manipulation is as it said, the ability to manipulate your shadow, and bind your own shadow with the opponent's, who will need to mimic your own movement. Shadows also can be used as a main offensive or even defensive force, though is most likely used here in NB as a distraction to make the opponent retreat to a trap.

The weaknesses of shadow manipulation are obvious, in a place where there is no light, there is no shadow, so places with lack of illumination, night or even clouds could turn tables around. Fire is also recognized as a weakness, capable of pushing the shadows away or even return it to sender.

The strengths is that shadows can be created even with a candle, and tools such as flash bombs turn to be much more efficient with nara, who can use the moment of blindness and confusion to bind the opponent. The user can also use the small shadows from wires or even a water stream to extend their shadows even further.

good enough, too long, could have made it more simple :p

so, first i want you to make the "Rat" hand seal and than i want you to focus your chakra into your feet, than when you think you have enough chakra, focus it into your shadow and try to move it by your chakra to my clone's shadow so that they join together and you get ability to make my clone mimic your moves

I begin by focusing my chakra into my legs, carefully monitoring the amount of chakra used, which I begin to channel in my shadow, carefully controlling it to prevent any incidents. After channeling enough chakra, I am able to feel capable of moving my shadow, though something is missing. Understanding the concept of handseals and their important role, I perform the Rat handseal as seen before from my Nara mates. After performing the handseal, I feel more freedom to manipulate my shadow. Carefully, though swiftly enough, I make my shadow move forward at quick speed. Immediately after making contact, I channel some more chakra to bind my shadow with the clone's shadow.

I just felt like you told me to start running before I even began to walk .-.

I begin by performing the rat handseal. Afterwards, I begin by channeling chakra through my feet, and slowly but carefully pour it into my shadow. I focus a whole lot in order to completely "drench" my shadow completely on chakra, concentrating strongly on my shadow and it's properties. I then slowly start moving the chakra combined with my shadow forward, focusing a lot of it's consistence and shape. I continue moving it, slow and steady, until it reaches your clone's shadow, which I then combine with mine by channeling chakra through the clone's shadow, "becoming" part of me.

I said "becoming" part of me, because my shadow is part of me, and when I combine them, it becomes part of my shadow, which becomes part of me.

Just clearing the misunderstanding.

I begin by performing the rat handseal, then in a much more faster pace I begin by channeling chakra toward my shadow. With a great amount of focus and concentration, I drench my shadow on chakra completely, taking control of my shadow. I then, control my chakra to move my shadow forward at quick speed, reaching your clone's shadow in a nick of time. Once my shadow makes contact with your clone's shadow, I channel more chakra through my shadow, combining my own shadow with his.

AWESOME! >_<

I begin by taking a kunai out of my pouch, holding it on my left hand. I then begin by remembering the properties of shadow chakra that I used beforehand. Upon remembering, I start channeling the distinctive chakra into the blade, carefully controlling the flow of chakra and focusing a lot to prevent any inconveniences. After successfully doing so, I throw my kunai to your shadow, possibly binding you.
