Can a clone be made into a Spirit Bearer of a tailed beast?
Of course we know that if the person can't handle the sealing they can die, so for the sake of the idea let it be said the clone is of a powerful enough person. So if the clone is tough enough, can it be made into a Spirit Bearer?
Of course it seem likely that those failed Spirit Bearers were the result of the unfriendly beast raising he'll within their bodies, so let's say the beast is friendly - what then?
Of course we have seen that the 'essence' of even a person (who, unlike a tailed beast, is made of flesh and not only chakra) can be sealed within another (Minato inside Naruto), so what if only a small percentage of the beast is attempted to be sealed within the clone?
Of course we have seen that only a full beast has troubled/killed a host (based on 50% Kurama being properly sealed, very quickly and easily, inside baby Naruto and 50% Kurama being just as easily sealed within Minato - who has absolutely no special body/chakra quality and could never otherwise hope to be a Spirit bearer -- hence the Hidden Leaf having to import his wife to be a Spirit Bearer!) so it can be inferred that the threshold for containing another being is extremely high (baby Naruto vs 50% Kurama had the beast being easily contained, and the whole process done by a Minato on his death bed!). So maybe the process could be done with the clone of even a non-alien character?
Side question:
What if a shinobi is killed while doing the Reaper Seal of Death? Does the sealing continue, complete or get cancelled out? Orochimaru wanted to kill Hiruzen even after his arms had been grabbed, so maybe he thought it would cancel the process if Hiruzen died?
Continuing . . . What if a beast makes a clone of themselves (say, with 10% of their chakra), can the beast itself become a Spirit Bearer to its clone? In this way, it could access the V1 and V2 chakra cloaks. This would, if possible, allow the physically weaker beasts (like Gyuki) to tank cutting attacks. Of course, there is also the stats boost they would attain with these cloaks.
Since we know it can be done, as well as the ease with which it can be achieved, would it not be wiser to have a village, especially those with two beasts, separate their beast into several (like, 5-10) portions and seal those - safely - within their top leaders to grant them the chakra cloaks and other power boosts? They'd also have an easier time achieving the chakra modes and could spam tailed beast bombs since they'd be already high calibre shinobi. The issue of lacking a complete beast would easily be covered when the several bearers come together, in a team. They are also less likely to die and even if they do, the village only loses 10-20% of the bijuu and soon the chakra would recollect on it's own . . . As with normal beasts. It just seems so much better, imo. I daresay that with only a portion to contend with, each bearer would have an easier time achieving a full body transformation and maybe even partnership. Since it was seemingly done by Minato, chances are the exact personality of each portion can be decided by the caster, so each portion can be assigned to a bearer with a similar personality for compatibility. It's basically what happened with Kinkaku and Ginkaku, but done properly.
Since we've already come this far, I might as well . . . Can beasts or portions thereof be sealed into weapons? Like, I figure Chojuro with a beast inside his sword would be able to create giant sword slashes almost for free - with the beast providing the chakra.
Finally, what happens if a former beast bearer is resurrected with Impure World Reincarnation? Do they return as a jinchuuriki or as a normal person? We saw Nagato return with his Rinnegan despite the real eyes . . . But then again, eyes are a physical trait while a beast is pure chakra.
What say you?
