Shaco is a master criminal with a jester-like appearance. He is an extremely violent yet intelligent

Shaco is an extremely pale-skinned man. He has bright, glowing green eyes with black slits in his pupils and black makeup around his eyes - a reference to his maniac-like nature. He has ruby-red lips and bright green hair. Shaco is originally seen wearing a bright reddish-orange and black jester suit heavily adorned in iron spikes and metal protectors. He also wears an eccentric cloth hat in a motley pattern; it is floppy with two points on either side each of which has a iron spike at the end. However, Shaco enjoys "Suiting Up" as he calls it, and is seen sporting different attires virtually every day. Another distinctive feature of Shaco is his ridiculously mock-filled grin and laughter.

He is a sadistic, fiendishly intelligent lunatic with a warped sense of humor, who derives pleasure from inflicting twisted, morbid death and terror upon innocent people. In combat, he fights with extreme ridicule and mockery and at times, with extreme cruelty, choosing not to kill his target right away until they have been totally disabled and humiliated. He is very egotistical and freely taunts and belittles his opponents. He laughs at everything.

Most would say that death isn't funny. It isn't, unless you're Shaco - then it's hysterical. He is Konohagakure's first fully functioning homicidal comic; he jests until someone dies, and then he laughs. The figure that has come to be known as the Demon Jester is an enigma. No one fully agrees from whence he came, and Shaco never offers any details on his own. A popular belief is that Shaco is not of mankind - that he is a thing summoned from a dark and twisted world. Still others believe that he is the demonic manifestation of humanity's dark urges and therefore cannot be reasoned with. The most plausible belief is that Shaco is an assassin for hire, left to his own lunatic devices until his services are needed. Shaco certainly has proven himself to be a cunning individual, evading authorities at every turn who might seek him for questioning for some horrendous, law-breaking atrocity. While such scuttlebutt might reassure the native inhabitants of Konohagakure, it seems unimaginable that such a malfeasant figure is allowed to remain at large.
Whatever the truth of his history might be, Shaco disappeared from his clan as soon as he was able to walk, only to show up in Kirigakure several years later, wearing the same ever-smiling face as he does now. Shaco has recently gone missing for a reason only he knows.

General:Shaco commits crimes with countless "comedic" weapons (such as razor-sharp playing cards, razor sharp flowers, explosive pies and lethal electric joy buzzers). He has cheated death numerous times, even in seemingly inescapable and lethal situations. Though he has been seen caught in explosions, been stabbed repeatedly, dropped from heights, electrocuted, etc, Shaco always manages to return fully alive and unscathed to wreak havoc again. He is a ninja who specializes in deception, tricks, genjutsu, laughter and comical jutsu.

are famous for their powerful chakra, exceptionally strong techniques, and natural aptitude for anything combat-related. The clan possessed a proficiency in fire techniques, having created several and using them more skilfully than any other. Shaco, like many other Uchihas, is highly known for his mastery of ninja tools albeit of peculiar, unorthodox ones. However, Shaco is most feared for his powerful Sharingan, a kekkei genkai which gives them the ability to see the "colours" of chakra, allowing him to analyse and copy his opponent's skills - a dangerous ability especially in Shaco's case. His natural affinity for battle and innate proficiency with eye genjutsus (due to his 1T Sharingan) has made him a much feared opponent.Genjutsu:
Due to his high degree of intelligence and innovation, coupled with his kekkei genkai, Shaco has become an avid user of genjutsu especially those that are visual-based. He has an extreme obsession with genjutsu and loves to use it during combat to taunt, ridicule and deceive his opponents; eventually using such techniques to allow him to slaughter his opponents.
Affinities:
Despite being a member of the Uchiha Clan, Shaco ironically has an affinity for Wind Release which he enjoys using due to its intangible nature and clear/transparent appearance, characteristics that complement his deception style of fighting extremely well. And through intensive training with various people, Shaco has acquired the ability to perform wind techniques with one hand seal. Shaco has also developed an affinity for Water Release, enabling him to perform the hand seals for water techniques with increased speed.
Taijutsu:
Shaco has moderate skill in hand to hand combat. Over the years it has been shown that although his opponents are usually stronger, Shaco is faster and more agile. He has been known to be able to hold his own in hand-to-hand combat against Maito Gai, however every time he is subdued by Gai, it is through physical force. However, Shaco has proven to be very skilled in the area of martial arts as well, this being proven when beating the Gai once in a fight without "cheating".
Weapons & "Gadgets":
Shaco has mastered the use of any kind of weapon and is able to use all. He can summon weapons from scrolls he carries with him in a blink of an eye. Shaco is also a reliant user of summoning seals which are either tattooed on various places on his body or sealed away in parts of his clothing. He has a natural talent for and has an advanced knowledge in weapon making. His most preferred weapons are two pointed tantos (dagger-like appearance) which he wields in each of his hands. Due to his proficiency with these tantos, Shaco is capable of performing handseals even with both of them in his hands.
