chiyo & kankuro protect & cover sasori & the kazekage puppet.

if youre gonna argue hidden mist, then kazekage takes all their friggin swords.

otherwise its a battle on top of water, instead of in the mist. sasori can eventually beat Kisame while his backup beats the rest._Kankuro can vacuum up the fodders
chyo vs Zabuza is a pretty decisive match up, if she doesn't get rid of him quickly, team sword could win.

Puppet Brigade wins, mid-high-diff, and that's because of Kisame, who's the only one who poses an actual threat (the others get countered badly or are nothing but a nuisance, except Zabuza).

If Zabuza puts up the mist then Kisame won't use his water dome and vice versa because both jutsus can't be used at the same time. Either way the puppeteers have what it takes to handle both scenarios.

In the mist scenario they can guard themselves with Hiruko and Salamander. In Hiruko's case i only see Kabutowari and Hiramekarei being able to destroy it, and while Scorpion is obviously an inferior version, i doubt it can be damaged by other swords as well since the base of its defense is similar: a metallic shell.
Then they only have to wait for an attack and use that opportunity to strike. The fact that silent killing in conjunction with the mist requires the user to rely on sound instead of their eyes means the sand guys will have 0 trouble poisoning most of them except Kisame. The number of members poisoned would depend on how many would go for the first strike. After realizing the mist is useless the one who're still alive are sitting ducks (except Kisame).

After Kisame is all by himself its only a matter of time until he gets overwhelmed. Kankuro's 7 puppets, plus Chiyo's 10, plus Sasori's 100 small army? One GBS isn't enough.

yeah, mist doesn't seem practical, I think they fight on top of water to aid Zabuza.

The only actual threat to Kisame here is Sasori. The others provide minor annoyances, which is exactly what the Mist does for Sasori. Once a sizable body of water comes up, it's pretty much over. The only answer they have to that is the Iron Sand. Which can also be countered if Kisame were to initiate the Water Dome. Which pretty much drags them all into his domain and allows him the added speed to successfully evade the Iron Sand.

sword team wins if kisame manages to capture the team in GSBs which render chakra strings and hence puppets useless.
