The Hyūga clan is one of the oldest clans in the ninja world. The clan itself has two sides, the Main house and Branch House. The Main house place Cure seals onto the foreheads of the Branch House members to force their co-operation if needed, as a single hand seal would kill the Branch House member. Because the Branch house members are the ones on the frontline the cure seal is also used to seal the Byakugan to stop enemy forces gaining its powers. The Main house are the governing body for the Hyūga`s and make all major decisions for all of the clan members. All members that are born into the clan possess the Byakugan.

The Byakugan, a kekkei genkai, means "White Eye" and grants the users hightened visual abilities like near 360 vision, the ability to see an oppenents chakra and the ability to see through solid objects. The 360 vision has only one blind spot which is at the back of the neck. The ability to see chakra allows the user to insert their own chakra into the oppenents body at points that can distrupt their chakra circulation or stop it all together.

Now, as far as we know of, there is no specific way of
"awakening" someones Byakugan. So it's assumed that all
Hyuuga just know how to activate it by nature. So go ahead and
activate your Byakugan and tell me a few things.
Starting with
1) How many chakra points are on the body?

The effects of Hitting Chakra points depends entirly on how many are hit and where. For example,

(Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou) - Protective 8 Trigrams 64 Strikes

Damage Points: 30
Description: A defense that can block off attacks and an attack that closes 64 tenketsu and limits chakra flow for one turn after the opponent is hit by it.

64 Strikes closes the Chakra flow for one whole turn. This is allows for a very devisating follow up attack with the opponent unable to use and chakra consuming jutsus in their turn. More Strikes (361) create an even greater advantage with greater damage.

*using my Byakugan i focus on the dummy and slowly start to see the chakra flowing though it. I take the Index finger of my right hand and run it over the dummy, mentally marking were i will strike it*

*bringing my Index and Middle fingers together in both hands and focus on the spots i have chosen, and in the order Right, Left, Right, i strike two upper body Chakra points and the last strike made to the throat*

Now that you know how to do the moves correctly, we'll talk a little bit about targeting.
I want you to tell me 4 vital spots that you can strike using Juuken to kill your enemy. Obviously you already know the heart. So 3 others...

So now I want you to try and hit the
dummy 16 times using Juuken. For the last hit, aim at the heart.

Yes Sensei...

*focusing again on the dummy I plan out the points i will strike in my mind while bringing Chakra to both of my hands. Upon focusing my Chakra i bring my index and middle fingers together again (in both hands) and start to strike the dummy, alternating between left and right. I strike the shoulders twice, arms four times, the stomach four times, the chest six times, with the last strike aimed at the heart.*

Good, you're getting the hang of it xd. Now that you're doing okay with pushing your chakra out of the points in your fingers, we'll try somethin more difficult. For this, I want you to push your chakra out of all your chakra points at the same time, and equally proportioned. Then, as you do this, you begin spinning, thus creating a protective barrier of chakra around you, capable of deflecting many incoming attacks (rank depending)

It's not as easy as it seems, but give it a try.

*I start by taking a position in an opening leaving plenty of room to rotate. I place my arms by my side, my feet shoulder width apart and start to concentrate. I concentrate on the feeling of my chakra flowing through my body, and slowing start to open my chakra points. Upon feeling the chakra starting to leave my body i feel certain points leaking more then others, so i give it time to level out evenly across my body. Upon feeling it evenly distributled, i place my right foot forward and raise my arms up to shoulder level. Having done this i spin on the spot (keeping my chakra evenly distributed) i expell the chakra out at an even rate, creating a dome around myself.

Well, looks like you got the pushing your chakra out off all your points down...but you need to work on having the same amount pushed out of each point. Right now you have a few weak spots. Try again, next time you might not be as lucky

YEY * pokemons ash, peace sign*....Okey lets go

*I stretch my legs out and then take a ready stance infront of the dummy. I quckily dash forward and using only my right leg i quickly kick the dummies right knee (from outside the its leg), then in the same motion, my leg comes up and kicks the dummy in the face lifting him of the ground, at which point i spin twice in the air and and send my left foot to the face again, transfering my spining motion into the dummy as it is sent higher into the air*

Good. Now that he's in the air, I want you to focus your chakra
into your palm, and release it towards him. Similar to how you
released your chakra for your rotation, but this is a directed blast
of chakra.
