Contains spoilers for Naruto chapter 642. Mainly my views and ramblings about 642, tl:dr's are totally welcome. I'm just vending off my feeling regarding this chapter.
Like the title says. Kakashi was a freaking jonin at the time. Did Obito expect Minato to baby sit his students when one of them was jonin and other chunin when freaking war going on?
Even on the mission Obito apparently died, Kakashi was the leader. Kakashi saw Obito many times before uncovering his identity, and in situations a lot less serious than having your wife near death, village attacked and a Kyuubi going on rampage and heck he even saw Obito utilizing a variation of his MS sharingan ability, and Kakashi didn't realize it was Obito, Obito even said he didn't blame Kakashi for what happened. I don't know why he's badmouthing his teacher for his tragedies and how he didn't recognize Obito now, then Kakashi should have been to blame more than Minato, right?
I think Obito's trying to take advantage of Minato's guilt in letting the village down, not being able to save Kushina's life and having to make Naruto a jinchuuriki. Exactly like he tried to lower Naruto's morale after Neji's death. If it wasn't for Hinata back then, who knows what would have happened.
If he was actually serious and really believed what he said, that Minato was always slow on things that mattered, then also Obito is just establishing himself to be a selfish bastard. During the mission in which he got killed, Minato was off trying to stop iwa or whatever from gaining a significant advantage over the village by taking out a platoon of 50 members against four konoha shinobi or something.
When Rin got killed, Kakashi was a jonin, and had no need to function under another, i.e Minato. He should have been able to handle the mission. The fact that Rin chose to die was not Minato's fault. Expecting Minato who at the time could have been doing anything, including saving more lives than one to come and save them is plain selfish of Obito.
Obito's blames actually have an effect only if this manga goes by the logic that 1000 fodders lives are nothing compared to the lives of named mc's.
What actually pissed me off however, was that Minato actually got distracted and felt guilty at hearing Obito's bullshit. He should pull his act together try to be atleast an ounce as badass as Tobirama.
Analyzing this chapter, I have made my opinion. Obito's a real as#h*3e and nothing more.
