Hagoromo said choosing Ashura over Indra resulted in them fighting, choosing both still did that, but WHAT IF, he would have chosen Indra, than what would have happened? Would the cycle end, would there already be peace?

thats a good point. Since Ashura/Naruto isnt the type to begin a war, but rather go for a peacefull solution, i belive that if hagoromo infact did that, things would have been much smoother atm

Let's say Sasuke had all the power in this situation. He would say "I'm going to kill the 5 kage" and Naruto would try to stop him, but Sasuke would win.

Indra would've tried to become a ruler and would've ended up killing Ashura who would oppose such extremism

Your don't make sense at all, pointing something out to be technically right without providing proof makes you look bad and since Ashura was the brother who in order to achieve peace to him the answer was love why would he be butt hurt over such a choice? Indra is the one who thinks power is the way to peace therefore since he didn't get it he was the but hurt one since I guess he thought himself right but didn't get picked so cried like a lil bish and fought his brother

More likely, this is Kishimoto's way of conveying his belief that, while never the answer, wars will always exist. It is a failing of humanity that there is always someone that wants to impose their will on the masses.

My proof was in ashura being the peace loving brother, he wouldn't engage in war over his father's decision. Secondly I said would not be butt hurt over his father's choice, unlike Indra who was.
