So the civil rights bill got passed back in the day. That was a time when blacks could get lynched just for looking at a white person the wrong way. My question is do you honestly think all the people who did that just died off? From generations of slavery, to the people who would hang you from trees, do you not think that they taught there children that? You'd have to be a complete racist for lynching somone for looking at you. And Ben worse, they published it in news papers, grabbed blacks out of police stations who were tried for him crow law crimes, and lynched them with a. Mob. There's also pictures where they brought little children to come watch people burning. There's pictures where people were smiling and posing next to the burning bodies. They even sent people's body parts in th mail that they lynched as souvenirs. Now every white person didn't participate by alot did. So what makes you think that since the law changed, all of the people who participated in that changed too?

Lmao it was more of a rhetorical statement formed into a question letting people know that they're still here

I didn't say will racism exist, I'm saying we're the offspring of these people who did such acts taught this as well and what about true later generations

you're asking why racism still exists even though discrimination was outlawed?

No. Because a lot of people won't change their beliefs just because of a law. That was like a point I was making. The people who did those acts didn't change just because the law did. But I was asking are their children and children's children probably in the same mindset since they most likely taught hem that. Or at least do think that's the case

Obviously the only way racism will disappear is when less and less people pass on racist views to the next generation.
