If hashirama's chakra is so strong he could break free from controled edo, why didn't he do that in the begining fight between oro and the third? Sounds like kishi is hiding some things about alot of characters...

Part 2 characters are more Overpowered compared to part 1 characters.

Plus, Kishi didn't really care about them at that point, he just wanted to reveal them.

Two possible reason

1.He was only brought back with a fraction of his powers the first time.

2.Kishi didn't foresee this far ahead.

he wasnt nearly at full power the first time he was summoned, if u read the manga well, and he didnt take over due to chakra, he took over because orochimaru is made up of hashimaras own cells.

I think its the fact that when someone is edo tensei the controller has no control over the zombie untill he litteraly starts controlling them. Question, Wasn't itachi and nagato walking around on their own before they started fighting bee and naruto? If thats the case then the connections of literal control don't matter. It was actually over powered chakra from hashi that broke the host connection string.

It explains it on this page

Since oro brought them back stronger they could break out of it
Tobirama thought he could but he couldn't because his body is made of hashis DNA

No I believe itatchi and nagato were pre-set to travel until they specificly found naruto and bee. and Oro never really had control of hashi because orochimarus made up of hashis cells, so hashi cant be effected by him, and like i said before, obito has hashis cells too, so im sure hashi will use that against him.
