When i originally read the manga today, when naruto created the two rasenshuriken and held it in front of him, i believed the army with naruto at the head began to sustain flight.

Was this naruto's doing by using rasenshuikens as helicopter blades and encompassing the rest of the army inside a chakra cloaked bird, or was this something diffrent.


How do we explain the army flying toward the juubi?

I guess my question is did naruto cause this flight, and if so does that mean naruto can take to the skies with the help of rasenshurikens?

Then perhaps im looking to far into this, but from this angle it seems as though they are gaining hieght as they travel horizontally. Normally if you jump up you travel vertically.

No I don't know.. There isn't no trees here. From what it looks like, they cut his tails, then they keep gliding. They was flying son.

Yo OP, i may not have the best rep but I for one think you are right.

And some people say that they are jumping but the angle of the cut juubi piece dosent agree with that. It is a horizontal cut, NOT a rising diagonal cut. I doubt even in Naruto world, shinobi can jump up, move horizontal then continue to rise again.

I think Naruto has them in a cloak (shaped as a bird in memory of Neji) and was using the shuriken as a rotor blade to achieve flight.

It even explains how they got on top of the juubi where madara and obito are. The distance is too high and too far to simply 'jump'

Even Madara looks shocked.
