[Serious Question] How powerfull is the 8th gate?

Lets be totaly honest, how powerfull is Gai's 8th gate and what can it be compared with in terms of power? Example: Could 8th gate Gai defeat Sasuke, Minato, Raikage or lets sey Hiruzen? And how will he do agains Madara?
no hype, no fanboy'ism no exaggeration Just try to be as honest as possible guys.

And fanboys, please, Gai wouldn't get caught in Sasuke's C-rank genjutsu and his Susano'o is nowhere near the level to withstand it.

I would say Minato possibly has a chance, reflexes are good, maybe if he uses SM sensing and reflexes he could make it out alive before Gai destroys him, unless Gai has some type of large scale technique and could run hundreds of meters in seconds, Minato is also done for.

Raikage? This is a joke, 3rd and 4th both would be destroyed, they may be fast, but nowhere fast enough to escape, and their defense will not even be good enough IMO to withstand the 8th gate.

Hiruzen? He obviously gets owned, that's judging from his current feats.
Hiruzen w/hype might make it out alive, highly doubt that though.

I expect Gai to put up great battle against Not-serious Rikudou Madara. In other words Gai will do great job to give Madara warm up before going serious and finishing Gai or overpowering him by each second getting more and more upper hand.

If you watched DBZ then 8th Gate Gai vs Rikudou Madara would looks like warm up battle of Perfect Cell against Ascended ssj Vegeta. Once Perfect Cell get serious Vegeta was doomed. Same case happens with 8th gate Gai vs Madara.

8th gate should be lethal and life involving danger of enemy attack on noone juubi jinchurki.

sad to say but he'd get stomped, we see how Maddy's reaction time and reflexes are enough to dodge EMS sasuke while blind, he has his rinnegan now with SM, the fact that gai was able to unleash a point blank midday tiger on him means that no one with reflexes or perception below Maddy would even stand a chance.

Well, 7-th gated Guy already beats IMO any of the current kage.
What 8th gate's description most likely meant is gaining a power greater than all five kage combined. Which might be exactly what's needed right now to occupy Madara for at least some time.

As for the scan, it most likely referred to someone of Lee's level.
That is, if someone on chunin exam Lee level was to open the 8th gate, he would be stronger than a single kage.

But obviously, this power has to scale, since Guy is already kage level.
