I guess there isn't much you can honestly do to stop your friend ****ing around like that and beating the shit outta him will just raise questions where you'll either have to deliver the truth or lies upon lies upon lies to protect that circle of friendship you got going on.

Whatever happens due to your silence is not your fault. This is all on Jeff. Shit ****s up, his fault. Try telling Jeff what you think rather than telling him to stop because he clearly thinks that his actions have no consequences.

I kind of have expierience in this in which two of my friends hated each other. In your case, its best to stay to silent and see what happens. If it gets out of control and you are pressed against a wall of having to choose between your friends, remember to stay neutral as long as you can.

Follow the rules of "flow".

Go with the flow-realize just how bad the stuation is and go along with it
Merge with the flow-Accept the situation and worst possibilities
Disrupt the flow-If you can, make the flow(situation)smooth and positive by settling the problem and everyone's cool.

First off you need to confront this Sharon mistress. She needs to know that you know and that she is in the FAR wrong. Don't confront her alone. Have Jeff with you. Between the three of you, you need to make it clear if they can't stop than you are going to tell Joanne. Give them a time period in which they have to stop or you will come clean.

It is the worst thing in the world and it isn't easy, but if they can't stop than you need to tell her. It will only get worse with time, and it would be better to let the baby grow up knowing what the father did than to grow up thinking your life is perfect only to have it turned upside down by finding out later in life. It is also the same scenario for the mother.

There is no win-win here and I'm wish you the best of luck. Telling the truth is honestly the only thing that will ease the pain you are feeling. Whether you tell or not. You will be dealing with that pain...

i can tell by how you talk you already know what you wanna do but you cant get the balls up to do it and every guy has been their in one form or another....but again you know what you wanna do so again nut up or shut up

You need to do something that doesn't humiliate or devastate Joanne because as you said it will negatively affect the baby growing up. You need to show Jeff you are serious about your threat/promise or he probably won't take you seriously so if it continues beat the shit out of him. It may be tough to be able to beat your friend up but you want to save your friends from public humiliation and for the baby's sake. You should also have a serious conversation with Sharon because if she truly cares about Joanne then she will stop and break it off with Jeff. I hope this helps and good luck
