In some Japanese theme, 9 is the number that ends most things. The creator of DBZ wanted to end Dragonball Z in 9 seasons. Same with the creator of Seinfeld (as off topic as that is.) There will not be a new DBZ, but a new series if it hits a good success rate. GT sucked so bad.

gt wasn't that bad i'll give you this compared to dbz it failed majorly but it was decent and the shadow dragon saga acually made teh dragon ball spam make sense before there were no negitive consequences

i for one am all for any more dbz in any shape it comes in i miss dragon ball z :'( also if it is a sequel i heard it will be before gt to avoid trouble with funimation

the music was utter shit, baby was a garbage villan stealing other bodies in order to become power full, super 17 was retarded, ssj4 automatically achieved without getting to ssj3 first. gt was complete garbage, the only cool character's they made in that series was ssj4 gogeta and omega shenron

because it made no sense like goku could destroy planets but had trouble with the simplest things for someone like him and he was the only that got development and like why was goten so fodder and everyone else

The power levels made no sense Goku claimed General Rildo was stronger than Majin Buu but he defeated him in Base Form ROFL Android 17, 18 and Cell make power weaker than SSJ2 Kid Gohan but 2 Android 17's make some Android that can Own Super Saiyan 4? ROFL, Saiyan Saga Vegeta can destroy a planet btu Great Ape Baby Vegeta who was stronger than any DBZ character fails to do so? and they were many more

The whole thing made little sense and was just a lame way to wank Goku

Well for one they made everyone seem weaker(no mystic gohan or gotenks).I still liked GT but it could've been much better.
