A sensor type (感知タイプ, Kanchi taipu; Literally meaning "Perception type") is ninja that is capable of detecting the presence of other people through their chakra. A skilled sensor can detect their targets from a great distance. There are, however, methods that can hinder a sensors ability to detect individuals. Muu has mastered the Hiding with Camouflage Technique to such extent that he is able avoid detection by traditional sensory techniques, but can be sensed through other means such as contact type sensory techniques (Gaara's sand, Kidomaru's web etc.). Karin is able to suppress her chakra though she herself cannot use her abilities while doing this. The Aburame can use their insects to create false chakra signals and confuse sensors. The Mirage Genjutsu used by the Second Mizukage and his Giant Clam also prevents them from being sensed through traditional methods while in effect. Even though there are several types of "sensory", the following rules apply to "natural" chakra sensors as most of the other sensor types are covered by the rules of their respective characters, abilities or clans.
Restrictions:
- Canon characters that have shown clearly in the manga/anime to have sensing abilities, can use them like Karin, Ao, C etc. If they are bound by any other rules, those rules still apply (for example Ao is bound by the Byakugan rules and Inoichi by the Yamanaka rules).
- Counts as an Adv. Ninjutsu.
- Requires at least one earlier approved bio before you can ask permission for a custom sensor bio.
- Requires 1500 Kumi.
- Sensory is bio-bound and thus, permission must be regained when switching bios.

Description: This is a very advanced of advancing the ability to feel and sense chakra. The technique allows the user to concentrate and detect someone's chakra. Users can use this to determine the nature of a jutsu used as well as sense masses of chakra. The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has.
Note: Can only be used by bios with Sensory ability.
Note: After having on a bio for 1 month, users gain the ability to activate Sensory passively.
