So I often hear how sensors can casually avoid Amaterasu because Lawd Obito did (as if fodders compare U_U).
Trick can work only once at best given the haste or mistake of amaterasu user.
So lets go back to academy i guess
As you can see one must always build up some extra chakra to be able to perform several ninjutsus in a row.
Building chakra up after each and every jutsu mid-fight is stupid and leads to death.
Then of course there is jutsu activation, some have hands seals, doujutsu has not = instant activation.
So the user can over-hold that chakra to use it whenever later on.
We can witness it perfectly in next scans
Itachi pretty much started spamming it and Nagato was clueless second time...
Or instantaneous one
Just converting all built up chakra into black hell
I also would like to point some overlooked FTG indications of delay before 'instant vanishing effect' takes place.
Take a look at chakra projection from naruto before 'instant appearance of summoning'
FTG has variable speeds only 'instant vanishing effect' is constant.
Conclusion: Once amaterasu chakra is built up for more then one shot, it can be over-hold and then instantly released leaving target with no chance of reacting.
