Sensei's that do not train

Naw my sensei went innacitve for about 1yr. and came back and pmed me i can be his senpai . He will be back in a couple weeks. Months max so train for me.. I actually find it offensive that they stripped mines. Though i messed up in the begining i was a very badd ass teacher and a damn good one at that. U_U. I always made training fun and serious at the same time. People say students come to me because im quick. though i cant disagree I am on for about 7hrs a day (Used to atleast. im on for about 3hrs now.. U_U) but i was one of the very few people that never turned down students. It was a flaw of mines but i had 18+ and i held my own. Granted their was days i simply told my students "Im not gonna train you today. Dont feel like it. nor 2morrow. So wait out" and they said ok. But at the end of the day They liked the way i teach and it was a personal relations (No homo) @Mig I actually did apologize to alot of senseis and salute you guys cause i was a SENPAI and my vms was FLOODED EVERY morning. i know what you guys go through. And i had friends that talk mad shit about me come BEGGING for training. Though i dont hold grudges it made my Sausage Shrink knowing im obligated to teach them.....

So @the creator. there was something that stand out. i actually was one of the people who was excited to finish somebody training just so i can train another. Feels good knowing you helped a noob master something just so they can get better.. I even most times Flooded their wall telling them to reply. xd

Yes. I have seen sensei's say countless times that they are busy and can't train. For example, Kagutsuchi, he has had a message on his profile for a long time that he cannot train until summer. Then why has he had his orange name for soo long? If can't train then he should give up the title of sensei and then when he does have time he can just regain it, can't he?

Also another sensei, The Pervy Sage when was the last time he had trained? O_O
I know he was inactive for a while because of RL but when has he openly trained anyone else other than his personal student? O_O

Just a few questions I have that I need clarifications on. I don't want to get flamed.

The decision to take someones senseiship away isn't done lightly. We take into consideration several aspects other than just the training done.

Vergil, Crutch, Kaze and someone else i don't remember got their senseiship taken away because they didn't even post in the Sensei HQ once. They didn't kept up to date with changes in the sensei system. They didn't do battle tests. Crutch for example, didn't log in until recently. Vergil and Kaze did log in but they didn't do anything RP related. Anything other than having Senpais.

And taking that issue in hand, an inactive sensei with a senpai is a mess. Why? Senseis are responsible for their senpais teachings and students. Senpais aren't independent from the senseis. Its something that has been stated before many times. So, the problem of being inactive and absent from the RP poses some issues:

-First an inactive sensei can't monitor the teachings his senpai does. This means his senpai becomes independent of the teaching system and can do anything he wishes to do which makes it impossible to control and thus leads to many many problems (many that we've seen happen many times)

-Second, an inactive sensei can't choose a good senpai. The simple reason is that he can be fooled into thinking someone deserves the spot and has the knowledge to teach, unknown to them that the person is completely oblivious of what a jutsu is. If he logs in but doesn't engage into the RP, then how can he choose a worthy senpai?

-Third, some senseis aren't very active, yes but have been so in the past and have done exemplary work for Nb. That appreciation was earned and is many times showcased with a tolerance in terms of the effects of RL in the active RP life of the said member. Is it bias? No. Its simply the appreciation of all that was done to be tolerant. But, unless they do become active and part of the RP, yes, their senseiship status will be taken away as happened to others.

-Forth the senpai a sensei has also has some weight in his senseiship. Unlike most senseis realized, their senpais teachings do mirror their own conduct. If a sensei has a bad senpai and is inactive or less active, we will be pushed into removing his sensei status more easily than an inactive or less active sensei that has an excellent senpai. Is it bias? No. Its just the reasoning we use to make the RP work with some degree of balance.

Now, these are the reasons relating to senpais. But a sensei does more than teach and have a senpai. A sensei does battle tests, a sensei judges battles, a sensei works in the HQ to come up with reasonable uses of techniques, a sensei helps the RP mods by maintain the RP functioning in terms of many tournaments, opinions, judgings, etc. A sensei needs to teach yes. But if a sensei doesn't teach but does all of the other stuff, then that senseiship stands.

We don't have any favoritism in terms of who's senseiship is taken away. Me and Nexus, a long with the rest of the RP mods (although the duty falls upon both of us more than the others) evaluate many things before deciding amongst ourselves who's sensei ship to take down. Its not done in terms of friendships or anything bias. Heck, its not even something we both agree on. Some people i named to be denseiseied and were kept while the opposite also happened. People i wouldn't mind keeping as senseis we came to the agreement that were not actually doing any good to the system.

Also, Crutch for example, will be coming back and as such will be senseied once more.

As for Pervy, your lack of knowledge is admirable. Pervy is a sensei and will be kept that way as long its possible. He does more in one day for the RP than most will ever do in their time here. He knows the appreciation he has from us and that is all that matters. Although i do need to deal with that post of his... =_=

As for Kagutsuchi, the reason why he doesn't teach is none of your concern. Nor is it of anyone else other than him and the staff. We are the ones who need to judge that, not you nor any regular member for that matter. Its something frowned upon, to call out people as if they were dogs when in reality its not your place do so so.


Also, i'll take this moment to inform members of the following:

-Jinbei is the Head Sensei. All senpais are approved by him and by me in joint agreement.

-I am for now the RP mod in charge of the teaching system. This means any issue related to teaching (be it from a sensei, senpai or shishou or even from a student) is to be taken up to me.


Now, i hope this was all made very clear. And for future reference, please don't make more sensei complaint threads. We have our fair share of those already.

This is why i dislike alot of my generation of Rpers, they just complain about everything >_>

The senseis have done alot for everyone in the Rp section of NB and also outside of it, personally i dont know how they handle all us noobs begging them for training everyday and spamming their pms & vms. I would have gone crazy by now if the roles were reversed. They volunteer for their position and as such are not obligated to do anything and if the mods think that they deserve their title then they freakin' deserve it :|

Kagutsuchi, again, just because you new members havent seen him around much doesnt mean he should be de senseid.

Hell, by your logic I should be desenseid because i havent taken a normal student in around a year, but no, my teaching occurs in the medical school where you cant see, meaning really I am not an inactive sensei, but by your definition I am? so for the fact you cant see our work, we should lose our positions? hmm?
