-The tournament follows Rei's Rules and Regulations, as well as Scary Yamato's Tag-Team Rules
-This tournament is a Double-Elimination Bracket tournament
-The tournament is all-inclusive in terms of abilities, meaning that all Customs are fair game
-Each fight has a 2 week time limit, as we all have training responsibilities and some of those are mods on top of that
-Before someone can be called to judge a fight, four turns must pass, meaning that each competitor posts twice in a battle sense (making a total of 8 battle-style posts). We're all adults/respected members of the NarutoBase community; we can talk things out among ourselves if need be

The rules of each fight, aside from what was stated before, is that the team on top in each pairing will make the thread and decide which side will go first. The team on the bottom of the pairing will decide the terrain and range. Partners always start short-range of each other. If either team did not post the bio's being used in this thread, they will need to do so in their first post in the battle thread. The fights have two weeks to be completed from the day the thread is made, and there will be a one week grace period for the thread to be made. Additionally, each person will have four days to post a move, and after those four days their partner will have two days to post a move for them, just to keep the fights moving. Either in the first posts or through VM teams may make and accept/decline wagers for the fight
We're using and . However, both our bios have pending updates so you might refer to those for the full sets of abilities. Please post your biographies, define the terrain and range and we'll make our opening move.

Two figures. One well known and the other a complete stranger. What puts these two together? No idea, but Barney knows what will set them apart. With a simple yet effective string of two handseals (1st for the genjutsu and 2nd for the water due to my specialty) an earthen cube materializes around you. Well, at least that's what you see. In reality it's actually a water cube but due to its special properties and the amazing chakra manipulation that Barney has, he's able to make it completely solid in order to completely prevent your movements. Because of these effects and the illusion of being encased in earth it's actually very realistic and because of the two handseals that are strung together with great care and precision it's almost, if not completely impossible to tell the difference. The cube itself is about 3 meters in depth, 3 meters in height and somewhat 7 meters in width. The width is bigger because the space in between you two is 5 meters and Barney wanted to make sure that there's still a good and solid part of the water on each side in order to prevent easy breakouts.

Description:
A simple but powerful illusion that is used immediately before an elemental technique. The user does one hand seal (Tiger, Ram or Horse) before the ones required for the elemental technique that follows. The result is that the enemy will see the next released technique as that of another element. However, to perfect the illusion, the user must train and have the ability to string the hand seal of the genjutsu with the ones of the elemental technique so that they seem to be only one set of hand seals.

水 Suiton: Sono Tenrai Kara no Mizu | Water Release: The Bliss of Water

Description:
With 2 simple hand seals (Snake + Ram), the user will materialize water within range of the technique, using the moisture all around the field and his chakra as a fuel. The water can be shaped into any given solid construct the user desires (like cubes, spheres, walls, etc) or kept as a raw body of water. The amount of water the user can produce is, at its best, about 10 000 liters of water (give or take a cube of about 100m3). However, the speed as which the water forms is always the same, taking a couple of seconds to materialize its maximum volume. The user has some control over the water while its materializing and once it materializes, but he can never generate enough momentum or compress it enough to actually do any harm to any enemy, even when he gives it a specific shape.

At the same time as Barney started his handseals miss Quinn started hers too. However her sequence was a tad longer but not to worry. As the illusionary earth encases you, pillars form just outside of the cube which you obviously don't see. Unfortunately for you the pillars are masked with the same illusion, unintentionally. Or not. Either way, as soon as you're encased and the pillars are at their climax they shoot out lightning bolts into the water cube which gets completely electrocuted, frying both of your hearts without much effort.

Description: After the user performs the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare hand seals, he releases his lightning chakra into the ground, using it to forcefully shape the earth into 4 big pillars (proportionate to the target area) around the target. Once they rise, they unleash a barrage of lightning bolts, currents and shocks to whatever is inside, paralyzing, shocking and damaging the target from all around.

He watches intently as Barney strings a few handseals together and causes a dome of earth to begin materializing around him. Immediately he realizes the logical inconsistency about the dome. It simply materialized all around him instead of emerging from the earth, it "materialized" into existence. Such a feat was impossible to accomplish for even the most esteemed Earth Masters, which Barney was not. Suspecting himself to have been caught within a Genjutsu, Kakuzu links together two handseals while he thinks these thoughts and erects a dome of air around he and Minato before their movements are constricted. After the dome of slicing winds disperses the prison and his suspicions have been confirmed, Kakuzu utilizes a final handseals to infuse dust and small particles of earth into the wind. This sets the abrasive power of the wind past it's limits, both Wind and Earth chakra working together to combine the roughness and tangibility of the earth against the sharpness and speed of the wind, creating an almost perfect defense against all matter, which is shredded to oblivion when it comes in contact. While he erected his defense, he felt vibrations underfoot and so decides to maintain the defense slightly longer than necessary. After the dome blocks the bolts of lightning emitted by the pillars, he performs one final handseals and fires it off towards the opponents in the form of two large gusts.

Description: The user links together 2 handseals, creating a ravaging dome of slicing winds. The wind's speed and sharpness is increased to the max, having almost no rival in shredding power. At which point, the user ends the succession of handseals with an extra one, which infuses the wind with small particles of the strongest earth materials. This sets the abrasive power of the wind past it's limits, both Wind and Earth chakra working together to combine the roughness and tangibility of the earth against the sharpness and speed of the wind, creating an almost perfect defense against all matter, which is shredded to oblivion when it comes in contact.
With 1 handseal, the user is disperse the dome into 2 large gusts of wind that fly up to mid range.
*The user is able to create a perfect sphere by leaping in the air*
*This jutsu is able to overpower the Strongest Metals/Perfectly Solid/Kaguya Bone/Diamond Elements/KGs up to it's rank, and Basic or less solid Elements (Wood, Calcium, Crystals, etc) 1 rank above*
*This jutsu can only be used once every 3 turns*
*The user is unable to preform Earth or Wind jutsus higher than S rank in the next turn*
*The dome is maintained for only 1 turn, and disperses normally if the user does not throw it towards the opponent*

While inside the dome and concealed from prying eyes, Minato drops a few FTG tagged kunai onto the ground (behind him) which sink deep into the long grass and out of sight. With his other hand, he plants a sealing tag onto his partner's sword (Raizu) and the pair have a hushed conversation briefly discussing their battle tactic.

Description: This is the technique through which Senju Tobirama and Namikaze Minato apply the sealing formula, that will allow the use of their trademark space time techniques, to any desired object through physical contact and allowing him to teleport to that desired location through the Flying thunder God Technique and the use of its variations. While Minato carries with him multiple kunais marked with the seal (making the core aspect of his fighting style which revolves around the use of FTG Kunais), Tobirama doesn't. To use the Flying Thunder God technique on kunais, Tobirama has to apply the seal to them though through one use of the technique he can mark up to 5 kunais (this is valid only for kunais and other basic weapons, not enemies or other targets of the seal).
Note: Can only be used by Senju Tobirama and Namikaze Minato bios.

Watching on as her partner begins their assault, Harley takes note of everything and anything that she sees or hears before setting into action herself. Just before she is required to follow through with her plan, she can tell something is wrong. A whizzing becomes prominent in her ears (sound training = enhanced hearing) as if a strong wind current were building before her. Then her vision begins to obscure, at first it merely blurs, but the blur thickens, a clear dome of wind forming around their opponents.

She smiles.

With nothing but a smile, the wind barrier begins to turn a thick red, as if a dome of blood surrounded those inside. Harley had summoned a large mass of red perfume in the air just outside the wind barrier, the strength of which sucked the perfume in and left it whizzing around the opposing pair of shinobi. The moment this happens, the powerful scent inhabits the dome and leaves the opponents with their eyes watering and their throats desert dry. Their eyes and throat sting and their noses become blocked by the scent of violets. As well as the effect of their senses the smell inflicts a powerful genjutsu inside which the opponents internal organs feel like they're being ripped apart from the inside, as if thousands of shards of glass are growing inside their bodies. Externally, they see vines rise from the ground and wrap around their arms and legs, ridding them of the ability to move and stabbing through their skin with hundreds of rose thorns.

Description: The user summons forth a large mist of vaporized red perfume, with a very thick and strong scent. The perfume is so strong it causes irritation on the eyes, nose and throat, increasing the more the opponent stays inside the mist, which messes with the opponent's sense of smell, preventing him from detecting other odors. The scent carries a genjutsu where the opponents feels his whole body being pierced, as if shards of blades grow in his stomach and lungs and other internal organs, before the opponent finds himself wrapped in rose vines, with growing spikes.

*Illusionary Effects: Shards inside Internal Organs and Wrapping Rose Vines externally.

As this happens, Harley turns to her counterpart and points to the sky... somehow, he understands. Almost instantly, he drops to the ground and slams his palms on the earth, the action causing the earth inside the dome to rise, lifting the opponents into their own whirlwind and strengthening the genjutsu as they get closer to the origin of the scent.

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Harley counts five seconds in her head, giving her partner enough time to put the opponents in place. At the close of her counts, she stamps on the ground and what results can only be described as a picture of hell. Three flame pillars erupt from the ground around the dome. The wind brings the flames inside as it did with the perfume, then, as it always does, the fire is strengthened and sent of a frenzy by the wind. The third piece to the puzzle, is the perfume. The alcohol inside of which ignites, sending the whole dome up in smoke. The explosion easily enough to destroy whatever remains inside the dome.

Description: The user will knead their fire chakra and release it into the ground by stomping down their leg and then causing three pillars of fire several meters tall spaced out evenly. As Harley begins to smile, Minato had just applied his Fuuin tag. Suddenly, he notices a slight discoloration in the wind. No doubt, some kind of toxic gas with unknown affects. Immediately sucking in a deep breath, Minato at the same time motions for Kakuzu to do the same. This gas would have to go. Minato would then immediately make a single handseal, with no hesitation, his hands appearing as a blur. He creates large air currents across the battlefield spiral and rage, dispersing the gas without much difficulty. Minato would then toss several kunai into the hurricane of wind which would scatter them all over the grass, hidden in unseen locations.

Description: After making the Rat handseal, the user creates and controls air currents from the palms of their hands, forming a large field of raging air currents and gusting winds. The technique expands quickly, rapidly spanning through all of the battle field, gathering debris, dust and other small particles in its path. The technique effectively creates a very large controllable "dust" storm.
Note: Lasts 3 turns or until released.

As Minato does this, Kakuzu would be at the same time concentrating his earth chakra, and focusing it. He transports two of Minato's kunais behind Luna and Barney. The noise from the dust storm would prevent them from hearing, even with their sound training. Minato would then start slashing as if at thin air, and teleport behind them both mid slash decapitating them both in an instant.

(Doton: Bimyōna Shifuto)- Earth Release: Subtle Shift

Description: The user focuses earth chakra throughout the ground to make it absorb small objects, weapons, liquid etc and quickly transport them somewhere else either underground or on the surface. The movement of the objects underground is very discrete to keep enemies unaware of it. However, as objects reach the surface shifting earth can be heard. This jutsu is helpful when setting traps and will not work on a living organism.

(Hiraishin no Jutsu) - Flying Thunder God Technique

Description: A complex Space Time Ninjutsu technique, the Flying Thunder God Technique works almost as a summoning technique. The user basically teleports himself to the location of a given seal mark. This seal mark is place by the ( Fūin Hirashin no Jutsu ) - Seal of The Flying Thunder God technique and can be placed in anything. Normally used in special kunais, thrown by the user, the technique can also be used to teleport to any thing marked with the tag. The technique is not a movement technique but rather simply a pure teleport technique.
Note: Only Minato and Tobirama bios can use this jutsu. It is unavoidable unless with space/time ninjutsu and can only be used 4 times per battle
