Hmm okay, Wind release is one of the five basic elemental nature transformations. It is performed by making chakra as sharp and thin as possible. Wind Release is mainly short to mid-ranged offensive techniques that combine brute force and keen precision to deal cutting and slashing damage. Wind techniques are usually performed by generating air circulation and can be enhanced through this method as well. Usually wind is emitted into blades to increase damage and range. Wind is weak against fire because the flames are fueled by air. A weapon that may be used with wind release is a Gunbai which is a large fan. In conjunction to the Gunbai wind can be emitted from them by sweeping it forward, however a strong combination move would be using fire ball jutsu after using the Gunbai to emit wind that will cause the fire to combine with the wind to hit the target harder than a usual sweep of the weapon.
It's also strong towards Lightning!
Most of the Fire country is made up of wind-dominant chakra users like asuma, Naruto, and Gaara ;p.
