Wood is the most prominent element of nature. Maybe that's why his Sage Mode is special. I mean, trees give us oxygen, which gives us life. Without trees, we wouldn't even exist.

It's probably a Sage Mode only wood style users can achieve. Btw, it's not 10,000 arms, it's called True 1000 Hands.

His ability to enter Sage mode while moving, shows that this is something which is beyond anything we have seen thus far.
Im guessing that his Sage mode is the most ultimate and purest form (a direct connection between the Sage and Nature). Wether other Sage's can attain a connection like that is debatable, because like you said he is the only one who has full control of the Mokuton style.

He's Forest himself due to Wood Release. He's the only person who can able to achive and legit easyly to Sage Mode. He's nature himself. Nature Chakra = Sage Mode,. + Sage Art means in NV. Ninjitsu/Genjitsu/Taijutsu enhanced by Nature Chakra. Even Naruto did it with Rasengan too.

So it's not meaning of Hashirama has Wood Sage Mode. Maybe He learned/created by himself and called it like this but, until he says i don't believe wood sage mode. Toad/Frog Sage Mode, Dragon Sage Mode, They called like dat due to Thier Sage Animals, These animals belongs to So6P. There's a really huge possiblity to 6 different Sage mode maybe. Maybe Hashirama has just Narutal Sage Art due his unique ability. He's Nature himself after all. But it's certain He has Sage Mode. And it's not a Regular Summoning Tech. Just like a Mokuton Mokujin or Mokuton Mokuryuu no Jutsu not a Summoning.

well after reading and analysing all the threads related to this issue i came to this conclusion
1) Hashirama used sage mode that time fighting wid madara.. the linings and shadings in his face proves that..
2) The thousand hand thing was not hashiramas summoning. it was something else which he could only use when he is in sage mode( obviously cuz it must require a lot of chakra).. its jst a aevance levep mokuton jutsu..

Let us leave these things to be explained by kishimoto .. i bet he can give a far better explanation than any of us...

Says that during the fight, Hashirama gained control of Kurama. It never said "During the fight, Mito sealed the beast into herself". That happened later.

I guess since Sage Mode can apply to anything that uses Nature type chakra then I am guessing that it is 100% possible that Naruto will become a Bijuu Sage. Maybe that is the way that he will be able to fight head to head with the Juubi.
