Man I had to delete and re post after reading your whole thread. The senju where equal to the uchiha. At the time of war the uchiha had no more feats or notable members than the senju(both had 2) ms and susanoo where the Uchihas best feats at the time, and so far we know of only mads that had susanoo. Tobirama had his suiton and ftg... and really? Only with ftg? He created the jutsu why wouldn't he use it? That's weird reasoning. And we already know hashis arsenal...It's easy to see that tobirama=izuna and madara almost =hashi and the rest of the members of each clan where pretty much fodder. By the time the uchiha where even a threat to konoha guess what, the senju weren't around anymore, bar tsuna. So if we're talking war period, it's hard to say their overhyped when there wasn't much shown on the uchiha side at the time either

OP the Uchiha and Senju were rivals. Madara and Izuna were the exceptions to the Uchiha just as Hashirama and Tobirama were the exception among the Senju. The clans both stood on equal footing.

Uchiha have more potent chakra but the Senju body is far more durable and could take the punishing hits and whether the storm longer. This is what made them rivals.

And Hashi faced Madara one on one. It was Madara who used Kurama. So stop that bs about Hashirama relying on help because he's an Ashura incarnate. The one who needed help in that battle was Madara and he still lost it.

The Senju and the Uchiha were supposed to be equal, sort of. But we got way too much power buffs for the Uchiha which left the Senju seemingly hype-dependent. Even with the reappearance of Hashirama amd his supposedly godly feats didn't convince.
