Senju Vs Uchiha
This is not actually a power comparison thread . Please bear with me.
Senjus believe of love be the only way to grow (Salvation?) while Uchihas conclude power to be the way to grow.
Through endless fights they(both parties and rest) realized senjus may be correct(The law of Freewill). But practical difficulties determined the upperhand of the vision of Uchihas.
Lord Hashirama went with the typical Senju opinion and formed a Village. Lord Tobirama realized the major flaw in the views of Senjus(with a lot of resistance , I might add) and agreed with the Uchihas(Not completely).
He proved his belief by forming the Uchiha Police force (The Law of Gods). Though his belief failed eventually(Massacre of Uchiha clan).
Uchiha Itachi , wise enough to realize the fundamental flaw within both the beliefs , tried to find a midway between both the beliefs ;shaked hands with the akatsuki ; died a martyr.
Jiraiya, even wiser, preferred a tougher alternative (The desire less Action , Endurance , etc). They were termed the sage(Sage ?).
Later Uzumaki Naruto appeared to follow this path .He befriended all Bijuus and able to reduce their hatred.
Uzumaki Nagato landed at a conclusion much different(Win over desires by punishing the source of desire , the mind) , leading to a catastrophe.He failed miserably(Akatsuki on rampage).
Uchiha Sasuke went with the extreme , control. The consequences are not yet clear though.
Fundamentally both parties are fighting with there differences (Freewill vs Order). The results has not yet been declared though.
The purpose of this paragraph is not to debase anyone . Rather I wish to say that none of the characters in Narutoverse are actually wrong. They have experienced the truth in many different yet specific ways.
