If Madara is the strongest uchiha and Hashi is the strongest Senju, I'd say they are pretty damn good representations of their respective clans. So yes, it is valid seeing as how the normal Uchihas were fodder and so were the normal Senjus probably.

Name every Uchiha that controlled the nine tails. Tobi hasn't been confirmed Uchiha btw. Fodder sharigan is same as fodder Senju strength (I say this because Hashirama didn't fight the uchiha clan by himself and win, the other Sunjus helped.) Fodder Uchiha clan was wiped out by 1 good uchiha and an Tobi. Naruto>Sasuke or Itachi
Hashirama>Madara

Solo, Uchiha is best clan, but with Senju + Uzamaki, they win.
