Oro did with different method and only Yamato was the success... with that experimented data, Oro successfully put DNA in Danzou...

except yamato and zetsu who are experiments or created from it

Because Madara's already dead.

Yamato was experimented on to an insane degree when he was just a baby/infant. Yamato was 1 in 60... INFANTS Trying any type of surgery on a child/baby has a high mortality rate and is incomparable to what was done to Danzo/Obito becasue it wasn't their DNA that was being meddled with, only a part of their bodies.

Danzo was already much older, and stronger than the kids, so I could see him surviving. Especially with his chakara.

& finally Obito's life was saved by Madara with the other half of his body being transplanted. So it makes sense that it did good for him, but remember that it took him months for his body to get back to normal. He had to get used to it.
