I don't think so, it would be so difficult to wipe the Senju and the Uzumaki together in this era, the Senju is the strongest, and when they ally with the Uzumaki, no other clan or village can destroy them, specially if the Uchiha wasn't involved in this.

On the other hand, I have no idea how they disappeared.

I think they were either killed seperately or changed their last names and integrated in with other clans, to build true blood ties with other clans towards their goal of world peace. Something lame like that lol
