Senju Clan and the Samurais

This is solely a theory and will be discussed as a theory.

Now firstly, I would like to start off with the correlation between how they dress:

Mere coincidence that they are similar? I do not think so. Most of you will try to argue back saying, oh Madara dressed the same way.. Sure he did, but after he joined the Senju. Before him and the Uchiha clan are showed with normal outfits.

Senju clan, however have always been shown with that armor on. And the only people besides them are the samurais. So I'm starting to think If Hashirama had any connection between him and the land of Iron leaders.
Their nickname : "The clan with a thousand skills" , "the Senju clan of the forest".. Sounds like a name of a warrior clan.


SECONDLY

The weapons. Who else relies on weapons like those? the samurais. Mere coincidence? I don't think so.

Now if you look at the OVA, you'll see that Hashirama uses a sword as his base weapons:

This is as far as I have come to connecting the Samurais and the Senju clan.

Do you guys believe that there was any correlation between the Samurais and the Senju clan?

And the way Hashirama fought with that sword and his stances in the fighting remind me of a samurai.
