this is the real deal . .animation has clearly shown us the strength of 1st hokage era(excpet Thenghai shinsei) . .

everyone in the base clearly astonished by today's episode . .the way madara's eyes moved on everyone in the battlefield was the epic moment . .

since the beginning of the naruto we hav not seen anyone who used sharingan in that manner(not even itachi) . .forget that we hav not seen a battle lik this @ all. .

madara's cruel version of taijutsu was epic . .he stomped atleast 100+ shinobi's with it

wat m saying is when kakashi said new generation always surpasses the old one it's clear that, he didnot hav a small piece of idea about old generation warriors . .kakashi's comment is nearly laughable . .

when naruto defeated kakuzu who thought of himself as "invincible" , he said that he couldn't comprehend how he got easily defeated then kakashi clarified him saying new generation always surpasses old generation . .so it merely sounded current generation is much more stronger than old one . .thats y i was lil confused in understanding the meaning behind kakashi's statement . .

The saying "the new generation always surpasses the old one" has been in the manga for quite a long while now, and the flashback to Hashi and Madara's childhoods is the first thing that made me realise that wasn't strength-wise. The old generation lived in a world where war was a constant. I believe that was before all the great ninja wars, at a period of prolonged tension between all the different clans. A period like that is the perfect time to raise the strongest shinobi - with the dangers of enemy clans attacking yours you would know you need to be able to withstand the attack. I just feel like the shinobi level was higher because they weren't learning ninjutsu to serve their village/become hokage. They were learning ninjutsu to survive. Survival is a basic instinct and they surely wasted no time they could use to better themselves. That is why ninja like Hashirama, Madara, Tobirama are still so much stronger than the new generation nins.

You got to remember, that the Madara that was reanimated was also enhanced by Kabuto. Also, thanks to the reanimation, Madara pretty much has an unlimited chakra supply. Yes, Madara was pretty badass when he was alive in his prime, but there are characters that I believe would have been able to make it a good fight with the original Madara.

i disagree, his reanimation doesn't change his skills, it only enhanced his quantity of chakra, he even stated kabuto did not increase his power. .only thing kabuto did was to bring him back @ his prime . .and i agree with that, what we saw in this episode is the result of his experience he obtained from his numerous fights he did when he was @ prime
