Sending Shadow Clones to finish that scum Obito off during Kurama's attack on Konoha

I know that after Minato battled Obito, he had to attend to his family and an enormous dog to seal away. What I don't get is this: Before he sealed himself and Kushina into Kurama and Kurama into Naruto, why didn't he send (other than if Kishi wrote it that way, things would've been really different) Shadow Clones to finish Obito off?

Was it because he didn't really think of doing that since he was more concerned about his family? This was a good chance to kill Obito (who was cheated death several times).

Can Minato do shadow clones? It's a forbidden technique right? Only a handful of people can do it. And even so I doubt A shadow clone could finish off Obito it's usually a hit kill with those guys

Minato isn't naruto after S/T barrier, plenty of hiraishins and summoning gamabunta. His chakra was running low. So he needed all the chakra he could get for the sealing.

That's the same as saying that a bear is a dog. Foxes only share the same family as dogs their genus and species are different which means they can't inter breed. Hence they are not the same. The guy did not fail at all.

In shadow clone technique user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power, so using a clone then wld've meant trying to seal Kurama with half of the chakra he had after teleporting the TBB and that tumble with Tobi and so he wld've come short and failed in sealing Kurama.

Same reason Minato standing in front of the hand of a 200 story tall monster stops it from moving instantly. Because thats the story Kishi wanted to write.

For all we know, Alive minato can do shadow clones similar to kakashi or itachi.
