Actually it's pretty good for a first attempt at it, also it doesn't look like a man. Just work on the proportions and shading for the face and hair. With slightly smaller proportions and more "roundness" to the features it will look more feminine, and to add to the realism use shading to create lines, you did it on the higher part of the jaw but down towards the chin you tried to make the separation more apparent and it looks like a goatee.
