Selfless Compassion

If Sasuke's character developed selfless compassion (starting caring about others well being, with out other goals) then would you like him more?

What characteristic would you like to see Sasuke develop?

Yes, i would like him more if he stops being a edgemaster.

That would be an asspull. He'd just seem like out of character. Although he still does care for his teammates somewhat.

It depends on when he started developing like that. If it was before the timeskip, he'd never help Itachi fight Kabuto because he wouldn't be driven by hate. In fact, most of the 2nd act of Naruto wouldn't happen at all because he'd have stuck around and helped out. Pretty much Naruto 6: Road to Ninja, but with some obvious changes.

I don't know... for starters I would like to be able to see him as a character, but he had so many sudden changes to his character in the past that at this point he feels more like multiple characters smashed together. At this point I just hope that Kishi can manage to make him feel like a coherent character again like he was prior to itachis (first) death.

Sasuke is like a stern sargeant. He truly cares about you, he just doesnt deal with BS.

Yet, hes pretty much filled with BS.

I think he might risk himself for Naruto - that Haku flashback was shown for a reason, but if he suddenly became a complete altruist, that would be an unrealistic flip.

Also, you don't just develop compassion if you lack it completely (I know from my own experience), but Sasuke clearly has some within him, being an Uchiha and all.

Sasuke and Naruto already had enough developments, its time other side characters gets some development!

I would like him that's how he was like in old team 7 but he'd have to show compassion for someone before he goes in danger to save them he doesn't show that side enough to anyone yet.
