Seems The Ninja World Is A Cursed Place After All

Im sure someones already touched on this before, but it feels like Kishi sure likes to repeat certain scenario's but with minor differences.

Obito
Rin
Kakashi

Naruto
Sakura
Sasuke

Two teams that seem to have almost identicle emotional paths.

Obito liked Rin but Rin liked Kakashi. Naruto liked Sakura but Sakura liked Sasuke.

I know this is only a minor plot point but in both cases weve seen the underdog of those teams grow to be one of the most powerful characters in the series with the original powerhouse falling behind somewhat. Link that with the fact that both teams have an off the rails Uchiha in their ranks and we may just be seeing the future of a Naruto/Sasuke showdown in the works.

It seems to me that Kishi has a fondness for the whole "those that dont learn from history are doomed to repeat it" saying. Ofcourse to keep the show from being too predictable he implements slight differences and a heafty amount of plot no jutsu to keep us guessing.

No i think its a structural parallel and sort of a social convention thing. Kakashi and Sasuke apparently gave off a "cool" and serious air about themselves which possibly attracted Rin/Sakura to them. Obito and Naruto made themselves too available which meant that maybe this only added to how much they craved what they couldn't get as easily.

As for the structural parallel its a common literary technique.

obito was the naruto of his generation, but instead of being led down the right path he was led down the wrong path.

You forgot to mention the same thing with the Sannin, except for the Uchiha.

Jiraiya loves Tsunade, Tsunade loves Orochimaru. Orochimaru was the superstar, but didn't give a ****, and went evil. Jiraiya was the loud-mouth ****up who eventually because incredibly, and Tsunade was good with medicine.

It's just 3 different generations. Structural parallel. It's a common technique.

Naruto was obito good path. Sasuke was kashi bad path. Rin and Sakura don't know their path. Tsundade loved dan not orchimar. Yes naruto going to die just like obito is going to die ha ha ha
