Seeing Sasuke's killing Sakura attempts and piercing Karin under a new perspective.

I always knew that the reason was something like that but after the latest chapter I clearly see a SasuSaku far in the horizon. As Tobirama said in this chapter the Uchiha try to seal away any love feelings in order to get stronger. Sasuke needed to get stronger twice in the manga so far. To kill Itachi at first and then to kill Danzo and the elders. Both times, a little before managing those feats or a little after he had a meeting with Sakura and in both meetings he tried to kill her.
He said his reason is he doesn't want any bonds with other because that keeps him back. We said that was completely wrong and Sasuke is not right on his mind but...but Tobirama disagrees and justifies Sasuke's stance.
So the genuine thank you before he left the village to Sakura really meant something.

p.s. Also Sasuke may have some feelings for Karin too but I can't say that for sure yet.

Well, I always told people that the "Thank you" was honest. Sasule was just a victim of his era as Kakashi said back then, as well, now the whole 'madness' is explained. To be honest, I did expected something like this.
As for Karin, she was the one who senses something wrong with his chakra so she was right that Sasuke was not the same Sasuke anymore. He still owes some appologees, though. U_U

I never though that Sasuke's thank you to Sakura wasn't honest.
But I don't believe that Sasuke ever had romantic feelings for Sakura.He loved them all as part of his team and they were the only close bonds he had with someone after the massacre.
As for Karin I really think that he didn't care at all for her when he stabbed her.By that time his only worries was Danzo and his revenge,he had already fallen deep into darkness to worry about Karin.
