Secrets of the Sound.
Chapter 1: "Mission"
Authors Note: This takes place when Oro/Jiraiya/tsunade are young (14) this chapter is a little slow but the next chapter will pick up nicely.
Just outside of the Konoha Gate.
Jiraiya: “What!!! Another mission?!” *pouts*
Tsunade: “Come on Jiraiya, quite your crying it’s already been a week since we went on one!”
Sarutobi: “Alright, Calm down.”
Orochimaru: “So what is this about anyway, it seemed argent?”
Sarutobi: “Alright… We received a note from a scout about 20 minutes ago that a convoy carrying crates of Weapons was attack by Rogue Ninja. The crates where being guarded by two Anbu members we need someone out there. Your group is the only one available.”
Jiraiya: “Two Anbu…”
Orochimaru: “How far was the convoy from the village?”
Sarutobi: “About 5 miles, southeast of the village. You should get going.”
Tsunade: “wait you’re not coming with us?”
Orochimaru: “he can’t the attack happened to close to the village, he needs to stay in case of an Attack.”
Sarutobi: “Get going!”
Orochimaru, Tsunade, Jiraiya: “Right!”
The group rushed to the site of the convoy, when they got there they found that everyone had been killed…
Tsunade: “look, over there.”
Jiraiya: “wow, good job Tsunade you found tracks..”
Orochimaru: *they seem too obvious… * “Jiraiya it’s a trap!”
Jiraiya turns around and finds several kunai flying at him; Tsunade quickly pushes him out of the way but in doing so she gets hit instead.
Jiraiya: “Tsunade!!!”
Two Ninja come out of the trees and start rushing at Jiraiya. Orochimaru quickly dashes at one of the ninja then uses [Shadow Snake Hands] three snakes shoot from Orochimaru’s sleeve and bite one of the Ninja on the necks and binds them. Jiraiya then throw’s three kunai at the incoming ninja and uses [Shadow Shuriken] to make the kunai multiply. The ninja then gets hit and falls to the ground. Another ninja jumps out of a nearby tree and starts running away…
Orochimaru: “Jiraiya take Tsunade and head back to the village, she needs medical attention!”
Jiraiya: “I’m not going to leave you...”
Orochimaru: “GO!”
Orochimaru turns around and starts to fallow the Ninja, leaving Tsunade and Jiraiya behind…
Orochimaru: *who are these guy’s they can’t be the ones that attacked the convoy, they’re too weak.*
Orochimaru catches up with the Ninja and throws a Kunai with an explosive tag tied on it; the kunai stabs the ninja in the back and explodes… Orochimaru then stops and looks around
Orochimaru: *I guess I’ll take what’s left of the body back to the village for forensics… what’s that sound?*
A soft sound stars to echo in around Orochimaru, His eye role to the back of his head and he collapses to the ground… at this time Jiraiya is getting back to the village…
Jiraiya: “Sarutobi!”
Sarutobi: “what happened!!”
Jiraiya: “we were attacked, Tsunade is hurt badly” *hang in there Tsunade*
Sarutobi: “where is Orochimaru?”
Jiraiya: “He went after a ninja”
Sarutobi: “okay, take Tsunade to the Hospital; I’ll put a team together to look for Orochimaru.”
Leaf Jounin: “we’re here Hokage sama.”
Sarutobi: “LET’s MOVE OUT!”
Leaf Jounin: “right!”
They start heading to Orochimaru’s last known location..
Sarutobi: *We’ll find you Orochimaru…*
