1. Just because we've seen more about Kisame, doesn't make him the greatest. Up to now, to the world Tobirama is known to be the greatest! While he is busy doing handseals, Tobirama simply does one and outcomes him. Not saying Kisame is not powerful. He had the chakra comparable with one of a tailed beast...
2. Yet he was praised the best from all. And when someone says he is the best, well, it's for something.

5. Well, you've seen it at Minato who said he was highly skilled when it came to that. I don't think he was talking for nothing, again.
So give the man some credit. He is indeed underrated.
Also, Hiruzen who is said to be the God of Shinobi couldn't dispel the area filled with darkness (genjutsu) that Tobirama casted. It is true it was in the anime, but think about it, whenever they add something in the anime, I am sure they do it with Kishimoto's approval because if not, they would go under the infringement laws protection so, whenever you say that something in the anime is not cannon, think twice.
