Searching For A Question

[Cyanide Addiction]

For what is it all we are searching
It's like we're all the living dead
And tomorrow is where we're lurching
Without really knowing what God said

We're all searching for the answer but..
We don't even truly understand the question
Some just sit around looking confused, asking "what"
"Why" is definitely better, but that's just a suggestion

We all want to know what happens in the end
But it's never truly over in either dimension
Our souls do indeed move on my friend
But part of us remains without heavenly intervention

We are searching for the circle of life
All the while we're living in it without a clue
Some can't swallow the knife
But would rather deny what's obvious and true

So to answer the undying question
We are here to keep this world of ours moving
We decide tomorrow's question through suggestion
What we do ultimately decides how the earth is grooving

So keep on searching and follow your heart
Live by what you can, not what you can not
Or the searching will tear you apart
And leave you feeling like a miserable sot​
