Some advantages are that if I was in battle the enemy couldn't see me, it could give me time to run away, I could try to ambush the enemy even though it is also hard for me to see here, if I knew silent killing I could do that, I could do a jutsu that requires time to get enough chakra or many hand signs (Like a summoning jutsu)
Some disadvantages are I can't see my enemy, I give them a chance to heal or run away, (Basically all the advantages, but instead of an I it's a my)
