The guy spent 2 years training with him he must of picked up some of his habits.
It'd also be the best way for Kishi to screw with the pairings fans.

Honestly I'm not, I really wanted to see an ending like that ever since the search of tsunade arc.
It would keep Jiraiyas spirit alive in a way and add to allot of comedy if there's a timeskip at the end.
