I have a fairly straight forward question for you guys, and i know this is probably the quickest of my forums i use.

I haven't been in chemistry since highschool but some of you are still IN highschool. My sister has a question though.

In one of those lame tests where you mix several chemicals and record which ones change color blah blah blah, the question at the end is

"you may sometimes have a precipitate while you were expecting no reaction. explain why that might happen" Any help is appreciated and God bless.
