Okay so you want to earn to control shodiame's cells huh? well since you contain his DNA, you have the natural ability to use both water and earth consecuatively. so lets give that a shot. try to channel water chakra with you left hand and earth with your right. them clasp youhands together in the snake seal to combine them.

lol, I know, this is just how I've been titling my training threads recently. The mistake is purposeful.

I concentrate and begin to focus water chakra through my left arm down to my hand while at the same time channeling earth chakra through my right arm and into my right hand. I then slam my hands together and interlock my fingers creating the snake seal, merging the water and earth chakra together.

haha yeah, people have been doing titles like this as a slight towards some of the people who cannot write/speak english well.lol, I know, this is just how I've been titling my training threads recently. The mistake is purposeful.

With the earth and water chakra combined after forming the snake seal, I focus the chakra into the earth and focus on creating some wood. I close my eyes and picture a tall and fertile tree that towers triumphantly over the training grounds.
*opens eyes and looks down*

Some background information on shodiame's mokuton vs yamato's. the first hokage's mokuton utilizes wood which resembles tree roots or branches. its very natural and powerful. Yamato's mokuton resembles carpentry wood. its blocky and artificial looksing. I believe this was done on purpose to show how yamato's mokuton is artificial compared to hashirama's which is natural. Danzo had Orochimaru implant Hashirama's cells into his shoulder which gives him the mokuton ability and danzo's Mokuton looks similar to hashiramas all though we havent seen him use it much before he died.
regardless, we should still be able to form the same mokuton moves with danzo as we do with yamato.
So concentrate more on the twig and use it as a focal point to grow the wood.
try to make it 20 feet tall and 1 foot thick on each side

I then focus that chakra into the twig I made and concentrate on turning it into a 20 ft x 1 ft x 1 ft pillar of wood. I see the image in my head and cause the twig to grow into those specifications.

I repeat the process, channel my earth and water chakra into separate hands, create the snake seal combining the two elements, and then focus the chakra into the ground to the right of the first pillar while picturing a second, identical one. The new pillar forms from the ground and springs up next to the first one. I then go through the same steps creating a third pillar to the left of the first one.

Good now that you can create multiple pillars we can work on mokutons basic use... Binding.
Go ahead and try t create two pillars around that rock. one to the left and one to the right. Make the pillars grow and wrap around the rock

I slam my palms together again mixing my suiton and doton chakra. I channel it into two spots, one just to the right of the rock and another just to the left of the rock. A pillar forms from the ground just to the right of the rock and wraps around the rock first going behind it and moving around it in a counter clockwise motion. At the same time a pillar forms from the left of the rock and wraps around the rock starting in the front and moving in a counter clockwise motion. The two pillars skip space in between revolutions leaving room for the other pillar to fit in perfectly. This results in the rock being wrapped in an air tight column of wood.
